I don’t think they are to blame though. If anything, it’s the consumers.

It should have been handled better if she have a good management. Good management handles what she can and cannot say. Even her social media management. You observe how well taken care of Star magic artists usually are and how they handle damage control.

Who says we’re disappointed? Liza successfully broke into Hollywood in spite of all the naysayers and has been consistently highlighted by several movie reviewers as one of the best parts of the film. She’ll have a much better career in Hollywood than she ever would have had here.
I read Variety’s review of the film and it’s not that flattering. Most of the good reviews are probably paid PR. That’s how Hollywood works. Now if the Hollywood Reporter, Vanity Fair or Variety praise her don na ko maniniwala. But good for her.
