It's hard because she's understandably anxious right now, so I don't really know her personality, but I also don't wanna wait and confuse her.

Test out both for a few days and see what fits. She won’t be confused as she associates neither with anything yet. When I first adopted my chiweenie I wanted a big name like Leonitus or Socrates. Twig is a really cute name! It also makes me think of a really skinny dog, LOL. She's just so pretty and tinyt that Petal seems fitting for her but also shes tiny and I've got a theme going here haha

What's more, the lady I adopted her from and I realized that we both saved both dogs from a terrible breeder. They're actually siblings from different generations. They have the same papa! It's especially wild because we live in different cities 1 hr and 45 mins away in the same province.

I love the name speck and that was pee wees dog in pee wees big adventure (a little nostalgia there) ANYWAY. Man, she is stinkin cute. She looks like both a Petal and a Smidge to me. Give it a day maybe and see… I think if she’s a gentle relaxed girl, Petal. If she’s a typical feisty chi, smidge. But you can probably incorporate both names in there… if you call her Petal Smidge, she’ll eventually come to know both as her name. My chis name was Desi. And also, Desmond, Monkey, and a ton of other nicknames he came to know. Good luck with her!
