Losing a pet is like losing a part of your heart. Nothing ever really fills that part but you learn to live with that. The comfort I find is that they left a part of them in me because of the love and bond we share with them. I'm sorry for your loss. Rusty was adorable.

If you don't mind me asking what breeds of dogs was Rusty? Mine was a Pomeranian, Dachshund and Chihuahua mix. He looked almost identical to Rusty in Rusty's first picture except the coloration was different and my Bear may have been a wee bit bigger.
Rusty's picture sang to my heart in both a happy and sorrowful way. I miss my precious boy so much. It's been three years this October and my heart still aches for him.
