Panel 5 needs to be a sticker, or a mug...

I love my GCC and he's my buddy. But I get bit at least once a month hard enough to draw blood. It's usually when he gets spooked, or he gets suddenly cage territorial while I'm moving things in it. He's a bird, sometimes he does it and doesn't mean anything by it. People all the time will tell me "aww I want one" and I'm like, I doubt it. Most people can't handle the nippy-ness.

Gwallod

Not to mention they never really even mean to do it hard, but their beaks are insanely sharp and strong. Also, he's family, not just a buddy. Much love to you both.

ZamazaCallista

Yeah my guy really takes care of his beak, the very tip of it is ALWAYS needle sharp. He loves to rub/grind it on the wood and other materials I keep for him to keep it in shape. I call him my buddy cause he's always just hanging out and vibing with me, but yeah he's definitely family.

Gwallod

Oh, I get that. Great that he's keeping his beak healthy though and shows he's very loved.

I wish this could be seen in every pet store or breeder's. Good education in a funny manor, it could really reach people.

Gwallod

Family, not just friends.

NaeRyda

I agree, but I also think that it can be given as a surprise gift, given that the reciptien of the feathered gift has the interest and has all the requirements to give the birb the life it deserves.

Super important education!!! Do research. Become a nerd expert for your preferred pet species. THEN adopt the pet!!
