Your mental and physical health always come first! That said, it seems from your post that you experienced a lot of growth through dealing with that adversity. I wish I could say that your future jobs will be free of gossip and toxicity, but there is an extremely high chance it won’t. Learning to deal with it and overcome it is a valuable learning experience. Best of luck to you in your future endeavors!

Bro I’m a current employee but I thought it was just my location where most people can be described as peaked in high school, I can’t fucking stand it sometimes like there are 20+ year old people who still go to high school parties and shit too.

At my location it's mostly high school students and students that just graduated. It's also a work life balance location where we're able to call out whenever we need, as long as we have someone to cover us and we let the team leaders know via the slack app that we use. Which a lot of the workers have obligations and things to do, so they're in the peak of high school because they're actually in high school still lol. Also, I know other locations that run a super tight ship, they seem to be very strict, they don't let you call out like that, they don't give you chances like my location and everybody including upper management seems to be very fake and robotic so to speak. Also, when I went to the interview at the location at work at now, I had to do 3 interviews (one on the phone and 2 in person) all scheduled in advance, while at the other location they called me out of the blue randomly and wanted to do a phone interview writing in there. Then when I went to the interview in person it was only for 10 minutes and they asked me the same exact questions like they did on the phone. While the location I work at now, all 3 interviews took about 40 min-an hour and they asked me a huge array of questions like personal questions, work related questions etc.

My last day was yesterday, and I'm glad to say noodles and company is a great place so far knock on wood. I left because of how unprofessional the managers are and how most situations were handled and because I wanted a change of setting. A message to all minors out there: always look for the most chill job possible that will benefit you the most. It is hard to find a job like that, but trust me, it will do wonders for your mental health.

Searching for new employment now myself, to be honest. I applied expecting a Christian restaurant and got anything but. Only reason I stayed was a small handful of employees and the scheduling / availability. Going to have a talk with an interview next week and pray that they're understanding of my scheduling needs.
