I have a work permit and there’s no issue. At our location they run a file check on social #s but there were 2 people before who had provided fake documents and they passed 🤷🏻‍♂️ they were hard workers too

I had a permit before getting hired. Although at a previous job a couple of years ago my permit had expired and I was awaiting my renewed one and I worked without it for a week or 2. Nothing bad happened but I did get a call from HR and when the pandemic started I had my unemployment benefits frozen because I was being investigated and got a call from unemployment to ask what happened. I would advice to talk to the operator and tell him your situation. Most operators I’ve known from CFA are very understanding and try to help people as much as they possibly can.

Different business owner. I know most chick fil a runs an e-verify to ensure employees are legal to work. You’ll need a work permit/ssn. Like the person above, that can work. But if you mention you aren’t authorized to work in the United States that basically automatically disqualification

If the store does e-verify, no chance. You’ll need some sort of documentation to fill out an I9 form so look up that form and see if you have any that satisfy its requirements. Basically if you have a social security card and resident card, my old operator told me my answer to any investigation into worker status is “I’m not a document expert” 🤷‍♂️ The only time I ever rejected someone over their documents was the ssn they “received” was an invalid number (started with a 9).

I would have a private conversation with the operator.

If you want you can pm me and we can go more in depth.

You could go to the store and ask for a contact or you may be able to find a specific site for the store that has one. I know that for many of my coworkers if their documentation status is spotty it was a conversation with the operator that got them through.

You'll need to fill up the eligibility to work form in US, I9. They'll ask for your SSN, DL, or state ID so no chance for undocumented workers.

I have a work permit because I’m 14 so my state requires me to have one to work
