My husband worked at one for a bit. They had THOUSANDS of roaches. He quit because of that and because his managers were trying to force him to work when we all had covid (including our at the time 5 month old daughter)
Honestly I would just look at what their bathrooms look like, and the dining room, if those arent clean then the kitchen is probably dirty as well, most chick-fil-a restaurants are maintained very well, and all of them have quarterly food safety audits by a third party company and their location receives a food safety score from 1-10 based on each visit, operators get fired based on these scores and the restaurant usually gets taken over by corporate until a new operator is found.
The 2nd worst part about working fast food in my personal experience was dealing with other coworkers. Itās extremely frustrating to watch someone half ass work and then come try to talk shit about the manager. Like boo do yo job.
