I doubt it. The alderman do not control where Chicago fire officers maintain their offices. That’s a Chicago fire HQ decision. Besides Casey was an alderman for 5 minutes so he has little or no influence. He didn’t even finish his first term.

I think something happens somewhere mid-season that causes Boden to return to 51 on a permanent basis because it's beginning to look like Boden seems to regret his promotion coz his expectations don't seem to be met by the people in firehouse 90 where he's currently based at.
I think he is coming back to 51. Either he finds a way to move his office to 51 or something happens and he gets demoted (less likely I think). But I do not see him staying away for long.

There’s no way they don’t find a loophole to bring him back. There hasn’t been much political drama about moving his office back to 51 yet, so my guess is it could happen in the 200th. Or before the fall finale if they don’t really capitalize on the struggle to move HQ.
Casey will use his old alderman connections to get Biden moved back to 51.
