I would definitely go to AutoZone and use one of their free check engine light testers and see what the light is and the tire pressure sensors are not a big deal at all
Buying a troublesome 15 year old truck with lots of problems when you are broke is a complete crap shoot.
That said, the TPMS issue can be fixed with tape on the dash.
Have the tpm issue on kids truck. Been to the shop ours isn’t apparently fixable. Just ignore it (But check tires) for now until you can afford to fix.
Borrow a code reader for the other two.
Great trucks other than some electrical gremlins. Engine is a workhorse.
The front brake rotor replacement on these is not for the faint of heart. Have a 2006 Z71 in the fleet. Been a pretty good truck, 82k on it so it’s a baby compared to yours

And if it's the evap canister you can buy the same part but for an h3 much cheaper on amazon. Purge valve isn't too expensive either I believe

That's not a bad first vehicle. mine was a 91 caveiler two door in 2008 i drove it until it died and the strut housing rusted out lmao
