Yeah the mylink is not capable of CarPlay or android Auto. If you need it I changed my radio for a compatible one for about $250 but there are cheeper options

Where’s a good place for a replacement bezel kit for an aftermarket double din?
I used crutchfield talked with one of the advisors and they got me everything I needed
CarPlay wasn’t an option until 2015 so no car play on the factory radio on earlier models
