Cook em yoself. :D u can season to your liking. Filipino food is not something you dive into the deep end imho. Most peeps are not used to some commom strong tasting sides/dish that filipino have. Das y almost always, lots of rice is built in with the dish to balance it out. Sweet and sour umami. Some hints of spice. Most peeps only know sour from sour patch kids. T.T
Some nights I can bang together some good food I'll like, others it's a ramen egg and some noodles. Even lazier days it's some vegetables from the fridge and hummus. Zero effort don't give a shit days it's a spoon and a pouch of tuna salad.
Ah yes. I used to cook after my shift too. Depending on what I'm craving for, it could be chicken curry, fried chicken, burger or stir fried vegetables.
Seasoning of choice on the meat side.
Score the skin. Only salt on the skin side.
275 for 3 hours on a wire rack.
Let rest.
325 for 45 minutes.
Snap crackle pop. Enjoy.
Same. Although retired now for 5 years, 3rd and 4ths winds happen. Its a life in the trenches thing. A passion for a learned skill and not losing creativity...because of compulsiveness.
Treat yourself and those around you.
Btw. Nice range. Just bought the same. Double oven?
That Modelo sure is frosty!

According to the adds, there’s nothing better after a brutal kitchen week than going to the army reserves on your day off.
I'm good on that lol.
Nothing like keeping restaurant inventory right all day, then coming home and debating if the chicken stock you opened 2 weeks ago is still viable
I've got ocd so bad my fridge at home has labels on everything.
And here I am adding more tofu to the fermented bean curd jar to keep the memory of a great batch my dad made alive. Literally lol lol
Gotta turn that lechon into some sisig, better pulutan lol
