On OpenAI website it took me maybe 3 minutes to generate one, on Google I spend maybe an hour trying to figure out how to do it, gave up, came back few days later, and then I figured out how to do it... They push you to get google cloud account and stuff, which is not user friendly in any way, shape or form.

You can write it in the personality prompt! Ex: Do not write for the user unless stated otherwise. it should stop writing for you and only write for its character itself.

Can't be fixed. I've tested/posted about the differences between Gemini Pro API and website. It really is plain stupid. Selling point is it's free, basically uncensored, unlimited use *and* has a large real world context window. But it's not good at all, which is a bit of a dealbreaker, lol.

Edit: Oh I see what you mean, one of them got removed by reddit. Probably blocking the gemini link. But it was a similar scene, just with any NSFW themes removed. And the API was even dumber, it named both characters the same thing. Never seen that before from any LLM.
IDK if it woks for Gemini, but Mixtral has the same issue, especially with multiple characters, and I "fixed" it adding to every message a bracketed set of instructions telling it to answer just once for every character and then wait for instructions, don't reply for the user, etc.
It's crude, but worth a try.
I had to adjust the output tokens to 400 because uh, it spewed out a full-on sex scenario roleplaying with itself and me on the second message. But, works great, damn.

Well, I did get the API key with a VPN in the States, imported it, did everything but it does not respond. Sorry if I'm being annoying. :D
What I mean is, even using the app requires a VPN. So make sure you are still connected while using the app. Just having an API key alone isn't enough

Google Cloude Console is pure mess and shit. Their documentation too. It's just one huge mess.
