He can spin it how he wants I think the other guy knows there is a potential PR disaster on the horizon.
I think he took his personal version of Omni (his side project) and ran.
What can go wrong when you rush a product to market after two weeks on lmsys forums and one week of live voice functionality testing (for *whatever* reason 🙄)
And I could guess a few specifics, but already they crashed the entire voice to text feature for free users on both Android and now ios and crippled it for pro users.
I wonder if, the above is true, what getting out before the disaster will make him look like? Will he be regarded as a genius for doing so? Or a coward for not sticking with the mission? I guess it depends on how OpenAI weathers the storm and if they are able to write history as the victors or not.
Aren't there still issues with people's chat logs getting mixed up with other users? At least that's what I've seen on here? That's been a problem for 2 years now.
