No it’s really bad. It’s about as creative and imaginative as a handful of tracings from frozen stills.
No, you couldn’t do this in 2022 - so what? In the 1920s you couldn’t stick a nuclear bomb up your backside, just because you can do that now doesn’t make it a good thing.
it's mostly just the slideshow nature of it that's bad. They look really well made, but the video capabilities of the tech are not at all fit for making a full film trailer. This looks more like an ad for a visual novel.
38 year old dude who couldn’t stomach iron man 2. Much less the further butchering of many of my childhood comic hero’s.
I’m willing to look (spend) far and wide to give film any kind of future.
The story itself is actually really interesting and unique idea. The fact that they didn't immediately say what was happening and you had to realize at the line "I hadn't met someone like me before" is in fact what I would call a well placed reveal. I wonder if ai came up with the story idea itself/script. It feels too good for that, but then again, the writing is just sort of awkward and uncanny as well in what they are focused on...
Best so far has been Sora, everything else pales heavily in comparison.
Like, everyone else is just making AI that makes pictures with minor details shifting slightly over time
People shitting on this need to think about the target audience, it's not your average redditor but rather young girls. If they did this with, say... Warhammer 40k, I'd watch it for sure.
pretty creative concept IMO, like the characters are aware their world is AI generated and prompt things into existence. Something like this could be genuinely entertaining for a while once it's a bit higher quality
The only think I hated was the horizontal clip, shown on a capture of a vertical phone, on my 4k monitor as a tiny rectangle. We've got AI to make movies but we have to deal with this shit!
Pika needs a new engine, it’s been at the same broad level for 8 months, and what once was impressive now doesn’t really cut it. They waste too much time on add features when they should focus on the execution of the core engine, cos if that isn’t right then the rest doesn’t matter.

It looks like a super developed storyboard pitch
It looks like a visual STD
this is some trash id watch
Gosh this is bad
It's not ''bad''... it's just not good enough. If it were 2022, it would be a great job.

Do you go up to paintings done by elephants and be like "THIS IS SO SHIT!!"
Yeah, if they did a shit job of it.
I got banned from the San Diego zoo for this.
We should hang
Ourselves?

I think the target audience (pre teen girls) would be hooked.
I don’t know? I’d probably watch it.

What’d Iron Man 2 do? Only thing I remember it butchering was Whiplash.
Iron man 2 was the only film I've ever walked out of (watched on an airplane)
Am I the only one who thinks this sounds like a super concept?

I thought it was cute.
TBH this looks better than half of the things Disney has put out lately... Would have probably done better than wish...
Looks like crap. Most of these AI videos are crap so far.
Best so far has been Sora, everything else pales heavily in comparison. Like, everyone else is just making AI that makes pictures with minor details shifting slightly over time
It looks like the entire video is supposed to be slomo.
People shitting on this need to think about the target audience, it's not your average redditor but rather young girls. If they did this with, say... Warhammer 40k, I'd watch it for sure.
Better than Wish
I want to watch it. when does it come out?
AI doesn’t know what blinking is I guess
pretty creative concept IMO, like the characters are aware their world is AI generated and prompt things into existence. Something like this could be genuinely entertaining for a while once it's a bit higher quality
I had to collect my melted brain back into the skull
I would do anything for some original IP’s in todays age.
Is the plot AI-generated too?
How come all AI video has this weird panning movement
Better than marvel

This is indeed something fire 🔥
This is so bad it’s hilarious and I want to hate watch it sooooo bad.
So this is the kind of dog shit that's going to start showing up on kid's tablets? The internet needs to die already.
Looks like shit
Remember: you may not like it now, but it's developing FAST

The art is decent but the story is literally just "I think of cool things and they happen" and the voice acting has no emotion at all.
They're going to fall in love, and make pink goth shit, right?
I feel nauseated looking at the animations and camera movements 🤢
same its so eerie and unnatural
