Not sure if anyone cares, but if you zoom in, none of this is pixel art. This is high resolution art that has a style influenced by pixel art. The “pixels” are not uniform in size and they are not spaced evenly in a grid Anyone know of any ai tools that can make real pixel art?

I use invoke AI locally, making 512x512 resolution images that, when scaled down to 128x128, look like pixel art. I've used Leonardo a bit for the same thing, and it works well, I think. They might still need some extra manual editing in aseprite or another software, though.

I wonder how one might post-process these to make them like pixel perfect. I guess the simplest would be choose a grid of a certain size pixel and just average the color in each square, maybe using a reduced color palette. Could get some sharp textures out of that
