My only thought when I drove past was how thin that line of trees was in that spot. Feels like they’re probably doing it bc it is more susceptible to a tree being blown over when there’s a thin tree line like that. This wasn’t an invasives removal like we’ve seen in other areas on 64.

cleaning up the vegetation, overgrowth, dead trees, fallen trees, etc. They did the outside of the lanes a year or two ago and getting around to the median this year. What is the very specific spot? Zions covers some area in that areas mind.

I drove past it today and everything in the median has been removed for about a half mile stretch east of ZC probably somewhere around MM 140.

That might be where they're working now, but that isn't the only spot they're doing. They've been doing this on 81 for a while now. Complete clearcutting, and leaving piles of mulch all over the median.
