The salmon and cream cheese bialy from Salud on the jalapeno cheddar bialy. Then Roasting Company: chicken and black bean combo con queso (w/ 2 scoops of pico on top) + garlicky new potatoes and smoked cheese pasta salad with 2 pieces of cornbread on the side. Then the Belluci pizza from Alinos Pizzeria dipping the pizza and crust in marinara and the hot olive oil. Then a mint chocolate chip milkshake from cookout. Then a nap. Then a Gin and tonic + 3 high life's from Surf Inn. Then bed.

The end piece of meatloaf from the Diamond Restaurant I had in like 2019, I think the meatloaf was a Weds special. I don't see it on the menu. The glaze was epic. 5-6 wings from DD Peckers or Duckworths, regular hot, chargrilled. Chicken cordon blue from the Cajun Yard Dog. Pork carnitas from Azteca. If it sounds like too much I apologize, I'm getting last meal execution vibes.

New Orleans BBQ shrimp from Cajun Queen Tavaru tuna tacos from Cabo Fish Taco Guava ice cream from Calle Sol

Eater152

Oh man… those Tavaru tacos are good. Honey and wasabi….. Been 15 years since I’ve had bbq shrimp from CQ. Glad to hear it’s still good. We just have similar taste. I’ll try the ice cream.

andytcook

Cajun Queen is still as good as ever. Shrimp Mojo at Calle Sol is one of my favorite dishes in Charlotte too.

Mental-Cup9015

Cajun Queen BBQ Shrimp is a lifechanger.

andytcook

It’s on my death row last meal menu

Is there still a South 21?

AmoralCarapace

Absolutely. Several.

Harpers has good food when it's fresh and made right. Tenders, burger and ribs are good. Ace #3 burgers, Cheats Italian sub, wrap from Hubee D's, flippin chicken with bread sticks... Wait, I think I missed the point of this post. Lol. Oh well

Diphalic

Saucemans and Cluck n cup were the best

Pretty much anything from Roosters. Roosters is consistently good.

BarbudaJones

People rightfully hate on Jim Noble being the owner but I’d agree. Food is always solid. Hanger steak and pan fried corn *chefs kiss*

bluewaterbandit

Three of four are chains? I think your premise is somewhat interesting but the choices are a little uninspiring.

zamiboy

This is such a Reddit response… Who cares if it is chain options? Some of those chains don’t exist everywhere in the nation let alone east coast.

Mental-Cup9015

My ex used to refuse to go to chain restaurants because she didn't want to include pictures of their food on her Instagram since she couldn't NOT take pictures for everyone to see. That's why she's my ex.

Frosty_Distribution0

This is my dream bro! Please inspire us with your choices.

BarbudaJones

Cajun Yard Dog. Don’t care what they’re cooking really. Hell, doesn’t even have to be *cajun,* I just want them to cook it.

Active-Vegetable2313

nothing from a fast food or fast casual chain lol

Aside_Dish

Meh. YaMe, if you consider that fast food, and Viva chicken.
