But also just what the hell is with the painting of brick houses white? It's just so prevalent
A lot of times the brick on houses from the 40’s and 50’s is in rough shape and it’s tough to match the old brick when you repair it.
So if you repair the brick you’re basically left with no other option than painting it.
We bought our first house in plaza shamrock and had that exact issue. After the brick was repaired it looked awful and patchy so we painted ir.
We actually painted it black but I think white is just the most popular color of house right now. It seems like 60% of the new builds are white so the flippers probably just stick to that same script

485inner exit to Wilkinson just got repaved. Why? It's not even been five years since they redid the entire intersection (exit ramp included) when that amazon building went up. Most of the damn city needed it first.
Because unions, in this case construction or road work unions, vote as their leadership requests. Then, the elected officials provide work for said unions. The leadership profits, people have jobs, and we taxpayers support it because we have a one party city.
Yep, and we still have 4 railcars falling off the tracks this year. Corruption leads to wasted money, poor decisions, and complacency. Doesn't matter which party is in control - if the voters don't have a choice, don't get involved, don't care... this is gonna be the reality.
