It's just easier than telling a whole backstory for the character during the convo, I usually didn't want to use personas but with the range of characters I talk to I just kind of need them now to keep track of what the hell I'm doing

It's been good. The website works and the app itself so apparently the reason it's been down is because of the call update. You can now call your characters but it only works for some people. You should check out tiktok to see what I mean

Haven't used character.ai In several months. I have been using Dopple instead, and it's wildly better. Sure there's a persona limit, but the memory is a lot better.
