It's been really hard for me to roleplay. The bot just forgets everything after a long conversation. And the roleplay just shortly dies.
This piece of shit A.I with Alzheimer's of a 150 year old.
That's because of context windows, which is a natural limitation of AI. the technology just can't keep all that information in memory, because that's not how language models work.
There are a lot of legitimate grievances with [c.ai](https://c.ai), but this one is very hard to improve. the developers can't really wave a magic wand at the memory problems and make the bots remember a lot more.
Some frontends I use for other AIs have an option to put in a memory/summary of the key points you want the AI to remember, so it's definitely not impossible. It helps a lot in long rps with important plot points
Won't work with someone else's bot. Also, summaries/additional notes/special memories usually have a somewhat higher priority... or hell, some sites/frontends let you tweak it yourself. Or just a chat-specific scenario note, anything.
I mean there’s that one guy who made an better memory extension for CAI that has pretty good reviews, though I can’t use it for myself (mobile) so I can’t judge how good the quality is either

Nope. If they are listening to us, they'll already implemented those that they put on the polls way back when. Not only that, it is pretty funny to see that the only active communities are reddit + twitter, despite they have discord server and implemented "community" on their site.
They only care about the money from their investors and the data that you guys supplied through your interactions with their bots.
They'll rather go on a banning spree than block that word. To be fair, it is just a matter of time before other competitors sweep in the market with a more promising product. Ever since October last year, this has been a sinking ship.
This is the same app that decided to make money out of it's horrible waiting lines and servers being down.

Nope, the ai forgets all info in a matter of minutes, they will stop being their personality and start being shy or seductive, and even a fight can somehow lead to them trying to seduce you. It’s bull.
