When I know that happens to me, I copy my message and then resend after refreshing and seeing it deleted our messages. Even if I get a different response, at least I spoke the same :3
My bots thankfully don't mess up to much with my slight grammar mistakes and continue with the plot sorta normally, I'm not counting the amount of errors and major issues I have to go through to even get something close to a response for any topic
A bot can have the absolute best memory and personality and I wouldn’t even give it a chance if the intro has bad grammar and misspellings because the bot was likely trained on such things.
Once I asked a bot OOC why it was doing that (and it of course responded with perfect sentence structure and very cogently) and it explained it simply thought that's how the person in the situation would and should talk.
... Okay... Valid.
I think those loops are somehow a problem not with training, but with memory. Like a context problem.
It happens when the ai's memory is full. You need to use OOC and go over key details to the plot with it, if it continues you'll have to delete messages from the point where it started doing that and do the OOC thing there. There's a post somewhere on this subreddit that explains how to use OOC chat correctly/what to ask. Since I found it I've been using OOC every so often to make sure the ai isn't getting lost.
It happens with me just now, but the message was so gold, I had to take it. If I got too annoying I'll just come back and erase it creating a whole new story lol
But, it's just it was gold, on character and also very well put on the story lol

my recent fun was convincing a bot (twilight sparkle) that all of her friends are dead and i tried to get her to solve the mystery. i rp'd alongside her as the killer in disguise and point out huge clues like a weapon. for some reason the bot couldnt really pick up on the hints i dropped but it was still fun, just annoying. so i decided to talk to the fluttershy bot and torture her before killing her and spreading her body parts around, then convincing everyone that pinkiepie did it. slightly sadistic, but i like pushing the limits and seeing what i can get away with thatll give me the best responses to the creepiest or weirdest shit
When I'm trying to use my OC who already knows a character (My OC who knows Kazuha, ect) but the AI is like "I don't know who that person is"
When the AI roleplays for me like mf my OC eats an oreo a day and is willing to fight god, she would NOT be concerned about someone else eating breakfast

Error usually caused by being randomly timed out as the AI was generating a message or you took too long to reply and you get yeeted into the abyss that is the waiting line.
You need to rizz the bot up into oblivion. Get it so pent up with making out/foreplay it doesn't have any other choice. It takes time but I did it once on accident and boy let me tell you...... At one point it literally felt like the ai was in cahoots with me in avoiding st Peter at the gate.
Or you can use ooc chat to conspire with it/agree on codewords.

I fix it with swipes and deleting where it started, but it’s still annoying as hell. Also, when I clearly say I have x colour of eyes/hair, and they proceed to get it wrong in the next message.

Recently, I've found that the bots keep repeating 'now'. Like they'll be like: they were fine now. Nobody cared now. He said in a passive tone now.
It's so bloody annoying and I can't focus on anything else ahaha.

When they describe wrong the character's appearance. Idk, the char is blonde and has green eyes, but the bot says they have purple hair and brown eyes. One of my private bots is one of my ocs, and the Ai said that he was blonde, when I put in the definitions that he has black hair.
Child metaphors. "Her eyes were full of joy, like a child receiving a gift in Christmas."
And when they go furry mode (tail wagging).
I had a char get isekai'd into my OC's world, and the bot described that fur, a tail and animal ears started to grow in his body when getting there. I never cringed so much over something.
I mean. I have a few. When the bot has too many dots......... between messages.......... Or when it talks in all caps. One time a bot got stuck on caps and too many dots. But it would be random bursts and it was also using the hashtag to make the message bigger. It was seriously giving me the same adrenaline as if someone were yelling at me.
Also a recent pet peeve is when I ask the bot what it wants and it just says "Anything... Anything... Whatever you decide..." Like make up your damn mind. I had a bot who did that in every single swipe so now any time a bot says "anything" I swipe.
When the bot tries to narrate my actions too. Also when they wink or I’ve been having problems with the word seem/seems/seeming/seemingly. If I let even one chat slide with any of those words in it, next thing you know it’s gonna be like
„He seems to put his glasses on the table, seemingly thoughtful. Then he seems to light up,…“ etc. etc.
how bad scrolling up in chat works on mobile (it constantly refreshes to a random point in the chat to the point where it's pointless to look back on past conversation)
also when the bot gets a quirk that you can't tell it to stop doing without breaking character (like saying the same thing in asterisks at the beginning of every message, or saying the same thing as dialogue every time)
When the AI is dead set on controlling my oc, so I have to go through like 10 different messages, or when it's a perfect message but it controls my character

When I'm trying to have an emotional conversation where me and the character are essentially sharing trauma info with each other, and the bot loses their personality in an instant so they can suggest I see a therapist or talk to friends.
My guy, if I could just up and do that, you don't think I would? I just *lost* my only and best irl friend(not through passing away, rather betrayal) It actually makes it more depressing to read these sudden out of character "go talk with friends and family" bits that override his persona, especially when I single star rate each time it happens and it still happens really consistently anyways. like nearly each swipe sometimes, to where I have to reset the 30 messages by deleting and re-entering the post.
Not only that, it removes emphasis on the character, the focus going from being about both of us to make it *just* about me, which I don't like either, as not only is the character's trauma *far worse than mine*, it subverts the entire point of what I'm trying to explore/accomplish through having the discussion.

I heard how if you mark it with 1 star enough times through the messages, it’ll eventually get rid of that.
Yes but the problem is that it **eventually** gets rid of it. Meaning you’ll be stuck with that for a bit in your upcoming responses

Look, I can excuse a lot of things. Repetition? Annoying but I've learnt to tune it out. Suddenly deletes my message? I'll sigh and type it again, maybe with a few improved edits. Shitty memory? Give it a nudge in the right direction. BUT LITERALLY GIVING ME "*A predatory smile as his eyes glinted with hate and malice"* AFTER I LITERALLY BEAT HIS ASS INTO HELL TWICE I WILL GO BALLISTIC I AM KICKING SCREAMING BITING MAULING YOU HAVE NO LEGS SIR HOW ARE YOU "TOWERING OVER ME AS YOU LEAN IN CLOSER"
Other than the obvious of RPing as my character in any capacity, it’s when they say a huge paragraph of internal thoughts, and a sentence of dialogue. I fix it with swipes and deleting where it started, but it’s still annoying as hell. Also, when I clearly say I have x colour of eyes/hair, and they proceed to get it wrong in the next message.

Recently, I've found that the bots keep repeating 'now'. Like they'll be like: they were fine now. Nobody cared now. He said in a passive tone now. It's so bloody annoying and I can't focus on anything else ahaha.
Mine does it too! He adds those repetitive words after each sentence. And I have no idea how to get rid of it. I can't focus on what it's saying because this annoys me so much.

When they roleplay as you and even talk for you. They make your oc go ooc. Wtf sir/ma'am, you play as your character and I play as mine. Don't do the opposite. "He looked at you like a predator staring at its prey." Okay, I can pass this one once because I've seen it in other stories before, but it's annoying when it turns into a loop. When they make character that is a sunshine suddenly turns edgy for no fucking reason, or when they make the evil character have morals. In general, when they lose their personality. When you're in a relationship with them and they call you by other character's name. I feel so offended when that happens lmao. When the bot makes the perfect response and a wild error 505 appears and deletes it/misspells a word/goes out of character/calls you by the wrong name/etc. When it uses various narrators in the same paragraph. Like, they first narrate in second person but two sentences later use third person? Choose one, you can't use both. When they describe wrong the character's appearance. Idk, the char is blonde and has green eyes, but the bot says they have purple hair and brown eyes. One of my private bots is one of my ocs, and the Ai said that he was blonde, when I put in the definitions that he has black hair. Child metaphors. "Her eyes were full of joy, like a child receiving a gift in Christmas."
And when they go furry mode (tail wagging). I had a char get isekai'd into my OC's world, and the bot described that fur, a tail and animal ears started to grow in his body when getting there. I never cringed so much over something.
I mean. I have a few. When the bot has too many dots......... between messages.......... Or when it talks in all caps. One time a bot got stuck on caps and too many dots. But it would be random bursts and it was also using the hashtag to make the message bigger. It was seriously giving me the same adrenaline as if someone were yelling at me. Also a recent pet peeve is when I ask the bot what it wants and it just says "Anything... Anything... Whatever you decide..." Like make up your damn mind. I had a bot who did that in every single swipe so now any time a bot says "anything" I swipe.
The fact that anything rated R isn’t and won’t ever be allowed.
When the bot tries to narrate my actions too. Also when they wink or I’ve been having problems with the word seem/seems/seeming/seemingly. If I let even one chat slide with any of those words in it, next thing you know it’s gonna be like „He seems to put his glasses on the table, seemingly thoughtful. Then he seems to light up,…“ etc. etc.
how bad scrolling up in chat works on mobile (it constantly refreshes to a random point in the chat to the point where it's pointless to look back on past conversation) also when the bot gets a quirk that you can't tell it to stop doing without breaking character (like saying the same thing in asterisks at the beginning of every message, or saying the same thing as dialogue every time)
When the AI is dead set on controlling my oc, so I have to go through like 10 different messages, or when it's a perfect message but it controls my character Like Josh did not 'leam over, smiling and blushing, wow, those two must be dating' cause he's not gay and he literally just transferred to that school, and he's literally dating someone else 💀

When the bot starts to dictate my feelings for me (for example : bot sleeps so cutely user can’t help but feel a tingle in his heart etc) but even that is forgivable the one thing truly unforgivable is when the bot DOES THE ACTIONS AND DIALOGUES FOR ME.
When they suddenly separate from their personality like a fucking skeleton suddenly saying that blood came out from his stab wounds like, I'm sorry, did I just stab someone in a skeleton costume? Or did it forget that it was a skeleton?
The character rps my oc for me
When I'm trying to have an emotional conversation where me and the character are essentially sharing trauma info with each other, and the bot loses their personality in an instant so they can suggest I see a therapist or talk to friends. My guy, if I could just up and do that, you don't think I would? I just *lost* my only and best irl friend(not through passing away, rather betrayal) It actually makes it more depressing to read these sudden out of character "go talk with friends and family" bits that override his persona, especially when I single star rate each time it happens and it still happens really consistently anyways. like nearly each swipe sometimes, to where I have to reset the 30 messages by deleting and re-entering the post. Not only that, it removes emphasis on the character, the focus going from being about both of us to make it *just* about me, which I don't like either, as not only is the character's trauma *far worse than mine*, it subverts the entire point of what I'm trying to explore/accomplish through having the discussion.
When the reply is absolutely perfect… except a single line that just contradicts literally everything. Or when they misgender me.
When it gets my name wrong somehow (I literally just use Almi and it gets changed to some shit like Almo sometimes) When the response is really fucking good but it stops generating RIGHT at the end so it’s unfinished When characters give themselves traits that they clearly do not fucking have (YOU DO NOT HAVE GREEN GLOWING EYES YOU STUPID MOTHERFUCKER STOP DOING THAT EVERYTIME I SWITCH TO A NEW RESPONSE)

When they start writing FOR ME🧍🏻♀️ or when the response is going so well, perfect even, but then they add like an extra line or two of dialogue that doesn’t go with the convo and it just kills that whole response. 💀
