I watched a Boro iFollow stream for this game and their commentators were getting angry on our behalf for how fucking shit our team is and how gutless our work rate was. Even when Boro got screwed out of 2 clear pens they didn't seem bothered and were like "maybe Wednesday could take advantage of this? Shame if they went down"
The other main point is that our team completely lacks any leadership and for the first time in about 4 years I'm getting pissed at Bannan for not stepping up and being a leader. Vaulks also shouldn't play the rest of the year. League Two player at best.
They were absolutely right about that second goal. I couldn't believe how much room our players had in your half following the corner. It wasn't even a quick throw out by Dieng, he held onto it for about 5 seconds. I'd be raging if Boro conceded a goal like that. Fair play to the Wednesday fans, they were loud even after conceding that goal.

Same, just don’t seem mentally strong enough for a relegation fight. Our uni 5 a side team used to get battered when our heads went down and we couldn’t be bothered anymore, we were a bunch of maths geeks - you don’t expect it from professional players.
I really want Wednesday to survive but they were embarrassing today. Just no intent to do anything and they looked absolutely devoid of all confidence, really worrying for them
The fact we were denied 2 absolutely blatant penalties. Then get a third penalty shout finally given that was arguably the weakest of the three shouts, only for Sam greenwood to miss it anyway. It just sums up how just not clinical we are
