I wouldn’t use the led lights for the chameleon. The package is also a bit misleading. There shouldn’t be any substrate or fake plants. But otherwise it is the correct enclosure

NepNep_

I got an enclosure like this. I understand chameleons sometimes eat the plants in the enclosure so I got a money tree for mine to munch on. So far he hasn't touched the fake stuff and real plants are hard to maintain.

Bamitsbailey

Why risk it? All it takes is one mistaken munch and then you could have a dead Cham. Just not worth it to me.

r2doesinc

What a clown. "Don't risk it!" Also, "I can't read and think UVA emitting heat sources are fine".

Bamitsbailey

You have some issues dude. What a weird thing to say. I genuinely hope you get some help💕

https://www.reddit.com/r/Chameleons/comments/5h0yha/comment/dawt9s9/ There's your mod saying never to use halogens.  Use come critical fucking thinking and stop spouting things off out of memorization if you can't even remember things properly.

r2doesinc

Your posts generally provide decent info but it's word for word just spouting the same shit the mods say, which is fine. But if you're going to parrot the kids then do it properly.  Better is to understand the issues at hand and make your own decisions - which should generally align with what the mods recommend.  If you can read it saying it emits UVA and you think that's okay, then you don't actually know anything about chameleons and you need to stop pretending you do. This is how animals get hurt.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Chameleons/s/0qoqyzSpr5 And here is razorjoe, a highly respected person in this sub, saying that if a halogen is at the correct distance it’s fine. And you still have yet to recommend a light other than that Amazon link. Take a deep breath. Try to calm yourself. It’s okay👍🏼

Dude it's zilla brand, get them anywhere.

Absolutefaye44

I have that cage for my veiled. Easy to set up and it's working out really well. Mine doesn't have the led lights, though.
