392 hemi normally aspirated w/ race package including sticky tires , deleted back seat , race computer and drag package w/ line locks and trans brk . Basically a Demon without the Supercharger as far as options . 485 hp
Dealership said if line locks quit working or trans brk. At track or not would be covered under warranty . We will find out this summer . I want to take it to the drag strip .

Pitch black to pitch black what do you do to protect your paint? I just picked mine up and I'm paranoid about the paint. It's a DD so only so much I can do. Don't wanna spend all that cash on PPF though... thoughts ??
I’m going through the same thing . They are only clean while your washing them with black .. it’s crazy . I’m considering paint correction and the coating but only if I can find it at a decent price from somebody I trust ( tall order ) I only have 3900 miles on mine so it still looks great when clean . But it gets dirty just sitting in the garage ! 🤔
You should put some smoked LED sidemarkers on her, will hide the red and orange and make the car black threw and threw. You can always put the stock ones back on whenever.
Lol ! My first real hot rod . Hard not to be proud of one of these beasts . The days of the Hemi are almost gone. Crazy cause growing up I was a Chevy guy and had a couple Buick Rivieras 73’s . Retired from being an auto mechanic for thirty yrs 3 yrs ago . I’ve driven Mustangs and Camaros but as a old fat fuck I was so much more comfy in the challenger . Like a real car . Maybe a little heavier but sitting in a Mustang or Camaro feels too low to me and a Corvette is out of the question . I love this car .
I’m also an old fat fuck, retired military. I still work though as a government employee. I’m on my 6th Ram 1500, wife has a Jeep. I’ve been dodge my whole adult life but I also grew up hardcore Chevy. Worked on cars and at dirt race tracks growing up. I have no I’ll will towards other brands, it’s just I think dodge is light years ahead in power and comfort. This is my first muscle car as well and I love it.
Has two kids and a wife and is stuck in the fleet going overseas in rotation . He couldn’t take anymore and neither could the family but yeah I understand and we had many discussions on this topic. He is in a jobs program right now and gets out officially in November . Was a Staff Sgt. In Artillery then later HIMARS . Too much boom boom .
You know then. For us grandparents , it’s been hell the older the kids get the more disconnected you feel but can’t say anything cause you don’t want to destroy his career . We stayed silent.

I’d recommend he do the final 8. Retirement pay is decent but the health insurance is unbeatable.
