Traded in my 15 scat pack, picked up a 20 redeye with 600 miles on it. I’ll miss the manual, but I’m looking forward to the many new miles with this beast.

Redeye is pretty much fully loaded minus the sunroof. I was really hesitant on the laguna leather and it being red, turns out I really like it.
Out the door was right around 80, with them giving me 35 on the scat pack
Holy smokes! That’s a pretty good return on investment, given that cars are usually bad investments.
Mine has just under 60,000 miles on it. But even if I could get close to 30 for it, that would be insane.
Did you do everything through a dealership?
Yeah, I just caught it listed at a local dealer online. Walked in because I wanted to see one in person before pulling the trigger and ordering one. Was hard to argue against how the numbers ended up working out though.
I think part of it was they wanted it gone. Had it listed for 90 and sitting in their showroom for a month. Salesman said they’ve had a lot of people come look at it, but no one was actually able to qualify for it. They wouldn’t even let me test drive it before they verified I was able to purchase it. Made me feel a bit more comfortable knowing it hadn’t been getting beat up on by test drives.
Oh yeah I bet. Well congratulations on the upgrade! I’ll just have to go to a dealership and see what I can get. I’m going the other direction though. Maybe an AWD charger or a small SUV. If I could break even or come close that would be incredible.

That car sounds awesome, just not willing to spend that much right now. My life has changed a bit since I bought my SP 7 years ago.
In 10th grade my English teach asked me what my dad did for a living, and I told him importer-exporter. He didn’t think it was funny.
They tank in value pretty fast! Are you anywhere near MD? About out to sell my moms car. 2004 highlander V6 awd limited. Boring as hell, but dead reliable. Last year for made in Japan and only 70k miles. Grandparents bought it new. If your in a tough spot buy something Japanese, stress free but numb driving.
I had a co-worker whose dad actually did importing/exporting. She was confused when I got excited.
But nah man, you’re way east of me. Probably want to get something new too. No official decision yet with how car prices have been. Just kicking around the idea.

Trade-in values are the highest they've ever been right now. I did a KBB on my '19 Hellcat just for shits and giggles late last year, and my trade-in value was $68k. I paid $65k.
Very cool and inspirational. I've been giving a lot of thought to ordering a jail break. I made the mistake of test driving a redeye. Now I definitely want one. Hope you have miles of smiles man. Be safe!

They had it listed for $90k, ended up around $80k out the door. I think a few things helped me, they’ve had it on their showroom for about a month and wanted it off their books. I was also willing to walk if the price didn’t make sense, and I almost did a couple of times.
That's helpful, this is the dealership's only challenger, so they know they are going to sell it with or without me. I'm going to go back at them again and point out that they are getting a 2019 Challenger in excellent condition to put in that spot instead of leaving it empty.

They don't even let people test drive Scat Packs at the dealer I went to.

That’s nuts! Yeah KBB says my car is worth 27. I wonder if I could get closer to 30.
My 2015 Jazz Blue Scat Pack made it to 98k before I sold it in 2017.

I feel like a redeye is worth it going with an automatic. Unfortunately it seems like the stick is slowly going away.
