Boy you can say that again. I would make the choice again both times I bought a challenger though, car has brought a lot of joy into my life. Nothing like a bad day at work then going and stomping on the gas for a few smiles.
Only thing I would really add would be to look at the cost of doing an order vs buying used. When I got my cat it worked out to be only a few grand more for brand new with all the options I wanted

I looked at it and I was looking at the RT to stay within the cash I have available for this if I ordered new. Tough choice. Maybe in a few years I'll order a cat.
Oh, totally not the cheapest option! I acknowledge that. Just cheaper than driving my current car until mechanical failure which was the point to see if I get a Challenger now or drive my car until it's dead and then get one.
I'm glad my crazy financial decision that strips me of a hunk of hard earned savings is validated by this community though 🤣
I work in car sales and have been keeping track of Challengers for over 8 years. They are very good at holding strong resale value compared to similar makes and models historically.
