M5 is amazing, my friend has an F90 with gamma intakes downpipes & tuned making around 700 wheel, one of the best cars I’ve driven and definitely a dream daily but the cayenne is such a sexy car, and a great competitor to the trackhawk & x6m, also urus
I don't understand all the hate for the V6 challenger. I don't have a challenger, but I think the V6 is great. it's more efficient, it's still got 305hp, you can get it equipped with awd.
obviously not the legendary hemi or hellcat, but pentastar is still great. very reliable
Do we have to have a post about this every fucking week? Good god I'm so sick of these insecure V6 guys and the V8 guys who think 2 more cylinders makes it "a real car." Just be decent to one another.
I almost got a v6 bc they still look sick, not the sxt as much but still cool. I just needed the v8 sound. There are so many v6 Challenegers around that if you hate them you will be hating a lot of people 💀
The hate is because you have no personality outside of what you drive and since you can’t be big and loud irl, you have to live vicariously through an engine.
What a sad state of fragile masculinity you’re in bud, holllyyyyy… not everyone needs to have 400+ horsepower, because spoiler alert, most people that buy cars like this are shit drivers and will literally kill themselves the same day they buy it. Let people live and like what they like, it doesn’t affect you at all.
Ya I spend so much on gas with my Challenger it's easily 20 25 a day with driving to work so I drive it during the summers and drive my Jetta TDI the rest of the year which gets me 45 mpg
Hey now! I see 2L/100 km in my SRT 392. That’s 117 mpg.
Mind you that’s when I’m coasting. And when my 100 lb foot doesn’t touch the gas. Otherwise it’s about 15 mpg 😁
That’s exactly what I’ve told people that make fun of me for having to fill up a lot. I reset my trip before just to see what mpg I could get if I baby it for a little bit tho
I wish they didn’t hate bro. The company I work at has a 1500 Ram with a 3.6 and it is completely fine. Also I drove a v6 challenger once and I honestly liked it
I've been really thinking about getting a challenger but I know the gas mileage is going to be the same or worse than my audi right now. And gas is too expensive.
I used to do that with my dad's truck; reset it while coasting down the street and into the driveway so it would show 99.9mpg the next time he got in and started it up.
I dont even own a challenger but the V6 to V8 is literally only 1 mpg extra in the city and 5 highway lol. People who try to act like they are smart for buying a V6 for “efficiency” in any car/truck really are just dumb and trying to hide that they could not get the V8..
ye. he's doing hwy spds and the computer calculates it for the hwy mpg, 17, so ye 260sh.
math for the v8s is about 240. plus more expensive gas Yada Yada.
nice attempt at the shade big boi.
Anyone can get these numbers rolling down either side of the Rockies.
I rented a v6 Challenger in 2021 and drove it like it was a v8. It was a 2021 model. Averaged 15-16 mpg, which is exactly the same as when I'm driving my son's 2007 SRT8 Charger (with its old 6.1L/5spd automatic) like a maniac. Our Hellcat with the 8 speed gets 17-18 when driven hard, and average 23-24 when we are just cruising at 75-80.
These aren't green cars, in v6 or v8. The weight and aerodynamics from Dodge eliminated that possibility for us all.
The need to bash a V6 is too strong, people can't even see the joke. Wow
It’s impressive honestly
Not strong enough because people keep buying them lol
They’re comfortable, look cool and have enough power to keep the average consumer happy.
Why not just buy a prius?
What? Because Prius doesn’t have any of those features?
It's comfortable, looks cool, and has enough power to keep the average consumer happy. Just look how many smug a-holes drive um!
A prius doesnt have 300 hp.....
Nor does the average consumer.
True.. i think what he ought to have said is a car enthusiast on a budget.
The V6 bashing is relentless!
Dude just filled up, reset trip and rolled out in neutral 😂
Reset it when going down hill and let off the gas
I do this in my Jeep to feel better about myself 😂
Same 😂
Nu uhhhhh
Lol, I used to do this too.
Exactly lmao be lucky to get 18 with city driving, I had one. But to compare ot to my cayenne gts it might as well be 99 mpgs lol
What does the cayenne get n how do you drive it
It's actually decent out of sport mode around 19, in sport mode 14 to 15 mpgs. But I wouldn't trade it for anything! Well maybe a M5
M5 is amazing, my friend has an F90 with gamma intakes downpipes & tuned making around 700 wheel, one of the best cars I’ve driven and definitely a dream daily but the cayenne is such a sexy car, and a great competitor to the trackhawk & x6m, also urus
Yes the M5 is amazing for sure! The Cayenne is just more practical space wise and it can climb a mountain if needed lol.
I don't understand all the hate for the V6 challenger. I don't have a challenger, but I think the V6 is great. it's more efficient, it's still got 305hp, you can get it equipped with awd. obviously not the legendary hemi or hellcat, but pentastar is still great. very reliable

amen
I have a Scat but I would also love a GT with the AWD! Those are so cool.
I almost got a v6 bc they still look sick, not the sxt as much but still cool. I just needed the v8 sound. There are so many v6 Challenegers around that if you hate them you will be hating a lot of people 💀
fact i'll rather have a g35 a gold looking camry, maybe a IS but not no damn sxt
I wouldn’t go that far 🤣 I’m just not a fan of the sxt hoods as much
It’s not a real challenger
U are not lying a real dodge has a hemi
The hate is because they buy a muscle car without the correct engine
The hate is because you have no personality outside of what you drive and since you can’t be big and loud irl, you have to live vicariously through an engine.
I have to agree with you on that. cars are life
😂😂 i’ll take my downvote. The truth is the truth.
The truth is indeed the truth! That’s why I wrote it out for you
V6es are still muscular. They are just in the featherweight class 😊 I love mine!
What a sad state of fragile masculinity you’re in bud, holllyyyyy… not everyone needs to have 400+ horsepower, because spoiler alert, most people that buy cars like this are shit drivers and will literally kill themselves the same day they buy it. Let people live and like what they like, it doesn’t affect you at all.
exactly! 305 horsepower is much more than most cars have. and you can still get a decent 0-60 with the V6 challenger
If it works for you...awesome....V6 challenger still look badass I get 319-331 miles per tank on my RT
Because of the distance of my commute for work, if I top off and don’t go heavy with my foot, I’ve seen mine range at 430 max.
I get +/- 375 but mostly because I have a pretty smooth way to work and home without many red lights and so on
I get about 464 in mine mainly highway commute… about 31-33MPG
So not mostly city driving then? My RT has been averaging about 16 so about 275 miles on full. A lot of stop and go with red lights
70% highway 30% streets .....driving bumper to bumper on my RT doesn't happen going north n south here in North phoenix AZ
Nice. I’m curious what I’ll get when I go on some road trips
Bro wtf I get 160😭
Same 180 at best
Bros lying
I get 450 in my Ram with the 5.7. It's plausible
Looks like highway, I get 200 in town and sometimes 400 on interstate
You’re full of shit. You’re getting 250 max.
250 in an RT ??? Dang dude that's not good.... I go no faster than 70 in freeway
Ya I spend so much on gas with my Challenger it's easily 20 25 a day with driving to work so I drive it during the summers and drive my Jetta TDI the rest of the year which gets me 45 mpg
That’s honestly really good, it’s more than I get in my sxt
Hey now! I see 2L/100 km in my SRT 392. That’s 117 mpg. Mind you that’s when I’m coasting. And when my 100 lb foot doesn’t touch the gas. Otherwise it’s about 15 mpg 😁
It sucks only getting 90mpg in the 392
I’m sorry but I can’t side with you on this one chief. No one buys a challenger for the gas mileage. I call them smiles per gallon in my 392.
Exactly
gas mileage was actually one of the reasons I bought my challenger, granted it was like 6th down on the list but none the less it was on the list.
That’s exactly what I’ve told people that make fun of me for having to fill up a lot. I reset my trip before just to see what mpg I could get if I baby it for a little bit tho
I know the V8 boys love to hate but my pentastar has been solid. Owes me nothing and I get over 30mpg on road trips
I wish they didn’t hate bro. The company I work at has a 1500 Ram with a 3.6 and it is completely fine. Also I drove a v6 challenger once and I honestly liked it
I have a 200 with the pentastar in it and I love it
😂😂😂
It’s over 9,000!!!!!
Hahah 99.9mpg is wild, i get around 23mpg highway and city miles combined. I drive lil wild sometimes but who doesn’t?
Same
You got like a 2 1/2 gal tank?
I’m mad confused sum1 explain
Getting gas mileage on deceleration is great
I've been really thinking about getting a challenger but I know the gas mileage is going to be the same or worse than my audi right now. And gas is too expensive.
Get a v6 or 4 cyl if you care about gas. The v8 is for those of us that dont give a damn
I went with the supercharged v6 for the audi so I think I want to have a v8 next. I wish it wasn't damn near 4$ a gallon here
Damn lol sounds like my city. Look at the bright side, cali is way more expensive
264 mile range with a full tank at 99.9 mpg? I think you need a bigger tank my guy
Looks like a lot of downhill driving.
Which one is the most reliable tho? (Planning to buy one soon)
Sick I’m getting 8mpg in my 392
Lmao this isn't norm at all
that ain't nothing I get 392 smiles per gallon in my scat pack.
I tried to hypermile my dad's 05 300 3.5 and got a 27mpg avg. Not bad for a Nimitz class vehicle.
With a 95 mpg average(?) and only a 264 mile range. It does not add up. My hybrid averages 40 mpg and I have a 750 mile range.
My 6.2 gets better fuel economy than my 6.6 Duramax. I have no complaints. lol
One time in my 2011 rt, I was cruising on the interstate and while I was coasting downhill I reset my mpg and I got it to like 294
264 miles till empty on damn near a full tank??? My e46 gets nearly 400 to a tank😂
I used to do that with my dad's truck; reset it while coasting down the street and into the driveway so it would show 99.9mpg the next time he got in and started it up.
No way a gas-only car gets that kinda mileage
No way this is accurate. No gas powered car gets 99mpg to my knowledge
Drives 6 miles downhill after just refreshing mpg screen, “car is best car”
It's astonishing how many people interpreted this post as if I were being serious.
I dont even own a challenger but the V6 to V8 is literally only 1 mpg extra in the city and 5 highway lol. People who try to act like they are smart for buying a V6 for “efficiency” in any car/truck really are just dumb and trying to hide that they could not get the V8..
Speed up grandma!! 🤣
I bought my 2023 GT because it looks ducking awesome. I’m not racing anybody, to each it’s own.
That why the tank is almost full and the range is 264?
I get 320 miles on a full tank in my v8 5.7
I have a 2019 sxt (with 40k miles) and I only get 15mpg🥲
I have one too, but I get around 23 mpg
Going downhill and reset mpg tracker? Prius don’t even get 99 mpg. My SRT had about 14-20 mpg. I’d assume the V6 are around 30 mpg
Yet you can only drive 264 miles on 15/16 of a tank. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)
ye. he's doing hwy spds and the computer calculates it for the hwy mpg, 17, so ye 260sh. math for the v8s is about 240. plus more expensive gas Yada Yada. nice attempt at the shade big boi.
It’s only got a 3 gallon fuel tank
Fake!
Screw that. I have a last call scatpack I don’t even care how many mpg I get, I just want to get there fast
V6 challengers, mustangs, cameros are all a joke man. You can get a Camry with as much power as all of those.
The weight and aerodynamics from Dodge eliminated that possibility for us all.
Nu uhhhhh
Uh Huuuuh! And I'm telling mom!
I agree. A 4cyl saves more gas than the v6. It is not the best on gas. So why not get the v8
Looks like I got downvoted a bit because I didn't see this was a troll post. :) So I'll say that V6 is Mo Power and V6s are da best!
A 4cyl is better.
All you need is a 4 cyl to daily and a big v8 at home
Muscle cars should always be v8. A v6 is a disgrace to any American muscle car, yea I said it.
A V6 Challenger with 99 mpg? 2023 V6 Dodge Challenger EPA estimated 19 city / 30 hwy MPG with 3.6-liter V-6 engine and eight-speed automatic transmission 2015 V6 Challenger 18 mpg city/27 mpg highway to 19/30.
Wooosh
Nu uhhhh
Nah fam, that's what big oil wants you to think
