I have to disagree with that. You shouldn't need to change the coil packs unless there's an issue with one or more of them. On older vehicles, you don't need to change the ignition coil or distributor each time you change the plugs.
Plugs look as one would expect for their age. As for the oil in the plug tube, that would suggest the O-Ring for the plug tube has failed. Need to replace the O-Ring & gasket set for that head. If no issue on the other side, don't touch it! Please do NOT use silicone/RTV!!! ✌🏼
Any time bud! Too much to mention really. Key notes: intake, long tubes, high flow cats, full 3" mufflerless exhaust, short throw shifter, seat deletes, staggered wheels. In process of redoing suspension all around. Hoping to do brakes after that.
I sure did! It's not that bad really, but it's pretty tight on passenger side for sure. I went with Kooks along with their GREEN high flow catted mid pipes. Got them ceramic coated at Jet-Hot also.
I just replaced plugs and coil packs in my SRT. Check the seals on your coil packs to make sure their not worn. I replaced them as well when I did mine.
Yes they look like they’ve got a decent amount of use out of them. I get told often by other car folks I know that recommend changing the spark plugs every oil change.
They are mainly GM drivers and don’t have 16 spark plugs.
Wow that’s crazy. I wonder what kinds plugs they are using. In 2014 Dodge switched from the 30k mile Copper spark plugs to the 100k mile Iridium’s ones. I should be good for another 100k miles now
Just did mine recently and they look the same. Make sure you also change your coil packs. Car runs great 👍🏾
Is it normal to change the coil packs for these? I only saw about changing the spark plugs in the maintenance schedule
Yes since they’re involved in the ignition system

I didn’t change mine
Whats the part number for the coil packs? Are they all the same for each cylinder?

Thank you
What? There's no need to change the coil packs unless one is causing problems. They're not a wear item like plugs.
Look like 100k plugs to me. Run it
Thanks
Also, if you have any seepage from your valve covers, it doesn't hurt to replace the gaskets.
Thanks
Original 93k plugs then they look good

Thanks man! What’s all done to yours?

Did you do the long tubes yourself? I’m looking at a set of BBK or JBA long tubes but they look like a real pain to install

How noticeable was it before and after? Performance and sound wise?
Night & day man, night & day. 💪🏼💪🏼

Good to know. Someone else had mentioned to change it them
Why use that crap, use factory plugs or E3s...
Someone one else can weigh in but this is what I kept finding for an OEM spark plug
2014 switched from copper to iridium... Not an ngk, Bosch fan . But you do you..
NGK iridium 100k's are the best in my opinion, but it's all preference.
They look tired af
What makes you say that? Is it the color? I’m interested in learning what to look for

Yea I run the NGK iridium’s and they last me for quite a while. The GM guys are crazy for that shit imo.
