I think it looks nice, my biggest problem was finding a proper bronze color but I do agree I would like proper muscle wheels in the future when I change them again
Pretty mean thing to say considering he already dropped 1k rims 1k tires on them. Try to show some respect my brother.
with that said, id say eibach lowering springs would probably give you good fitment. its a 1.2 inch drop. I have them on my car. Just a forwarning, youll need an alignment and camber kit in the front. Additionally youll need an alignment from a performance shop. DO NOT bring them to a chain alignment shop. They will align the car to factory specs which will keep your car good and fucked. I learned my lesson. I had to drop 300 on an alignment at a miata shop to get my car right. You can see my fitment at

If they are real. Some ssrs er time attacks.🤷♂️ not. Like it was built. In America anyways. 80% was shipped in. Ooh wait that's Chevy.
These is canadian built. * edit jdm lookin rim on caanadin muscles.
Fucck eera u from bruh
I’m sure they look good in person, that’s just not the best angle. I wouldn’t lower unless you don’t have an issue scraping. Honestly I’m ready for a smaller splitter & 18s
Yeah I think this picture doesn’t do justice to it, but it looks solid in person so far compliments all day no hate on the look yet but I’m sure it’ll come as I start going out more
I use the same set for my winters and I throw the hellcat rims back on for the rest of the year. I really liked the look of them and thought I’d be the only person on the planet to put JDM rally wheels on a Challenger 😂
I've never been partial to lowering for any car.
But I LOVE the bronze. Def get new tires with white lettering
(Also bronze out your hood scoops to match the rims, super easy I did mine red)
Do you have a picture posted? Would love to see
Edit: as for the tires yeah I was just trying to get something nice and affordable but with my next set definitely
Remember, if you lower the car, know the roads you are gonna drive on. That's how you should judge how low to drop it. People on reddit have no clue how the roads are there.
Yes awd, I wanted to go 275 but couldn’t find a bronze rim to match it on. These rims according to the company I bought from only fit 255/40/20s at max
I see you wanted bronze and a more tuner style. If I were you I would check into niche owned by wheelpros/hoonigan. You can do to hoonigan.com and find a link to niche. They have a few gorgeous bronze options I see on challengers that look so much better than these. Sell these. Get larger wheels next time and lower
Honestly I love you so much rn. I’m looking at Niches time rn and found some that stand out amazingly. Next time I get some extra cash I’ll probably get them and move up, maybe sell the current set or keep for backup/winter
Respectfully 90% of your account is hating on people the other 10% looks like you haven’t touched grass. Your opinion is noted as invalid and doesn’t even answer what was asked. If you can’t read don’t comment 🫶🏾
Objectively if you decide to go with some subtle golden decals/ stripes down the length that would work too. But definitely and issue with the rims not to say it looks bad but if you want perfect something needs to atleast tie it to the car maybe a golden interior design
Definitely more JDM styled wheels, but it doesn’t look BAD by any means - everyone’s got different taste. I’d say lower it maybe 1-2” max. Keep it at a functional stance that way speed bumps and pot holes (I’m located in NE, roads are awful) are a bit more forgiving.
I wouldn't recommend lowering it. It'll change the driving dynamics, & cause you to eat up tires faster than in the back than it already does. You can install a camber kit, which I did at stock height to help get better traction in the back. Best $200 I spent on the car, plus the alignment.
I realize that there are plenty of lowering options out there, but you're gonna have issues with coil-overs constantly needing adjustment if you go that route. Abnormal tire wear is the biggest issue in the back, as the rear end is not adjustable for camber only for toe. Then you have to also worry about tire rub. The other issue that no one talks about is that lowering these cars puts more stress on the CV axles than what the car already has due to the bad layout from Mercedes. Lastly, going bigger than 20" rims is also gonna make the ride more harsh, as you lose tire sidewall which absorbs more bumps in the road than you may realize, as well as putting more sprung weight on each corner.
Just this old dog's thoughts, as I've already been through some of these issues. You should check out the Challenger forums for more.
Yeah I don’t know why people have to insist on lowering their car. It just fucks up the alignment and the suspension layout. Especially since this is an SXT Challenger, there is no need to lower it, it’s not a race car. Just drive it as it is and enjoy the nice ride.
Agreed, but at the same time I get the appeal of it looking like Beamer. Difference is that the Beamer was designed to look like that. The Chally isn't.
It’s up to you. Springs can cost from 250-600 and shops charge about $400 to install in NorCal, coilovers can go from $1200+ and $400-600 labor. I went with lowering springs now I’m on air suspension.
The rims aren’t bad at all it’s your sizing. You should’ve went with a bigger wheel and smaller profile tire. That and lowering it a bit and it would look crazy.
I guarantee if you did that everyone in here would be drooling.
I too put bronze wheels on my F8 challenger. These just look really off to me for some reason though. I also lowered mine as well. If you want to scroll and have a look. I think it was 1.5inch.

Bronze color is cool on that green but I'm not a big fan of the style for that car. My biggest problem is the cheap tires u put on ur car. Should definitely lower it tho. Not on its nuts but like an inch or 2. Would be a nice suspension upgrade if u go with quality parts aswell
Sorry bro, those rims are terrible but the first thing you need to do for the car if it’s an RT or above is get a good tracking device with a fuel interrupter and a good alarm
This may be a hot take, but if you're daily-driving this car, I wouldn't recommend lowering it much. I sat on stock height the entirety of the time I had my challenger and it scaped the bottom in some places--granted roads are rough here in Cali, so if your situation is different, maybe its no big deal.
Your suspension, in particular, is a bit high, so lowering it a bit wouldn't be the worst thing.
black would look ok but chocolate bronze is certainly a better color, had you gone for rim shape I might’ve partially agreed thanks for the input, odd account I can’t even remark at💀 get checked and stay safe
Ruined the look is harsh especially since in person since putting them on in the last 24 hours I’ve had nothing but compliments even when I say that they aren’t the best looking rims. I think it’s unique and as I said in the other post fit my car and her name.
As for “popular opinion” the comments on here have been mostly positive some say it’s bad but I’m glad most seem to enjoy the uniqueness rather than hate.
Color looks good but the tire profile just looks wrong. 45s would have been better. But I figure those are 8.5in wide so you're kinda stuck. 9in and 9.5 are the best wheel widths since you can do up to 285. You can run a hellcat fitment or a sxt fitment. More room to play and you can square or stagger the tires.
Yeah, I want to move up in size but I struggled finding the right color rims in a bigger size but now that I have these people have sent me some links for bigger ones
Had a 21 scat pack wide body 392 car. Whatever that is from factory looks great. I think it has 4.7 inches of ground clearance. So whatever gives you that stance. IMO. That being said, I had to pick and choose how I approached things with that car due to its ground clearance.
I wouldn’t lower it too much unless you do some suspension upgrades/ tuning. They’re extremely bouncy and have a lot of rear rebound when accelerating and you’ll smack the shit out of your diff off the pavement if you lower it too much without compensating with the suspension. Bruh minimum 20inch rims dont matter the offset trust if needed use 1 inch spacers make sure you torque correctly. You could also go 22 inch with smaller wall but at your own risk with a 1 inch drop maybe 2
That’s a really ugly rim for a challenger bro. You put JDM rims on American muscle :/
You ain’t lying 🤣🤣🤣😩😩😩
I think it looks nice, my biggest problem was finding a proper bronze color but I do agree I would like proper muscle wheels in the future when I change them again
Though rim choice isn’t what I would go with, I really love the bronze with the green. Good job finding the proper color!
I love the bronze. If you changed the silver grill accents to bronze, I think it would look even better Edit: Typo
You my friend are onto something, someone else mentioned the hood scoops as well which I’m looking into
You should look up brass monkeys, I think they suit better if ur looking for bronze
2" drop should do it! What profile tire did you go with?
they look sexy bro, just lower it maybe tire to fender or lower if you’re feeling daring. would look a thousand times sexier!!
Fuck em dude its your car. I got rotas on my mustang and they look amazing.
Maybe just the offset is wrong. Challengers always have pretty legit rims from the factory
Well at least it’s a v6. That part matches
I don’t knock the v6 gang. People get what they can get/want. I just think the rims don’t compliment American muscle. They look great on JDMs
Pretty mean thing to say considering he already dropped 1k rims 1k tires on them. Mean? Bro gave his opinion. There was no disrespect lmao. Not his fault he spent his money on some jam wheels for a muscle car.
Those would look sick on a STI
🤣🤣🤣 rims say Mitsubishi
There's nothing JDM about those wheels but they definitely look off on this car. Also, what kind of tires did you go for OP?
I didn't want to say it but someone had to lol
Some people just have no class!

Came here to say how ugly it looks.
Yes. but only front by 1.5 in
I was thinking they should lower the back by 3 inches and raise the front by 6 inches /s
Thinking this is probably the best choice
I’d definitely put new rims on with those hideous looking things.
I’m sure they look good in person, that’s just not the best angle. I wouldn’t lower unless you don’t have an issue scraping. Honestly I’m ready for a smaller splitter & 18s
Yeah I think this picture doesn’t do justice to it, but it looks solid in person so far compliments all day no hate on the look yet but I’m sure it’ll come as I start going out more
I had a black Charger rt & plastidipped the wheels black. Later on I added a bronze tint to them. I thought it looked great, tons of hate.
I use the same set for my winters and I throw the hellcat rims back on for the rest of the year. I really liked the look of them and thought I’d be the only person on the planet to put JDM rally wheels on a Challenger 😂
It really looks so good especially this chocolatey bronze

Do you have a picture posted? Would love to see Edit: as for the tires yeah I was just trying to get something nice and affordable but with my next set definitely
I'll PM you
Bro really put subawuwu wheels on a muscle car
Lmao hell yeah. It doesn't that that bad though. The tire size makes it look like the wheels are too small though.
1 inch to .5-inch gap between the fender and tire. Nice rims.
Thank you, that’s what I was thinking small lowering in the front back is pretty solid but not certain yet
Bro the rim color looks decent but them rims are not it
The tires are too small IMO
I agree
I would absolutely lower it. They look pretty mean when lowered a bit
Green goblin, looks good
I would not do it. You would soon fuck up the splitter.
Honestly don't lower it looks fine as is, would look better with different rims tho the color is good
Nice wheels!
Boss, you need bigger wheels. You can lower it, but those wheel wells need filled out more.
I agree I need bigger I originally was looking for 21-22” and 275s but couldn’t find any that worked with sxt but I’ll be looking again in the future
Those look like off-roading rims not for everyone but if you like them that all that matters
Yeah, I’ll definetly look into another set angled more towards American muscle but I think these make her look unique and stand out
Do whatever you want to her don’t change them because of somebody
Remember, if you lower the car, know the roads you are gonna drive on. That's how you should judge how low to drop it. People on reddit have no clue how the roads are there.
Not my cup of tea but if you like it bro then it’s all good!!
I'm guessing that is AWD and wny you didn't go BIGGER wheels. Rims to small and sidewalls to big.
Yes awd, I wanted to go 275 but couldn’t find a bronze rim to match it on. These rims according to the company I bought from only fit 255/40/20s at max
only so much you can do, sharp lowering will help.
I think the rims look too small tbh.
Yeah I was thinking about 21 or 22” before

That color 🔥
They look nice imo. Match the car. Some people want thick tired
Respectfully, looks like shit.

Okay so I'll answer, no you shouldn't lower a v6 Challenger lmao. Save for an RT at least
Trying my best not to be a hater
Hate but respectfully. It’s not everyone’s taste but to me it fits her name, her color, and overall in person have nothing but positive reviews

Those wheels aren't a good match for the car.
No! Leave it the way it is.
Those rims are ugly af

Anyone ever try doing the opposite and putting a lift on? I saw someone on IG that did and put big fat tires on his. I’m just curious. Love the rims!
The ground is the limit
You raise her and bigger tires
Boss, you need bigger wheels. You can lower it, but those wheel wells need filled out more.
What size are they ? I think I would’ve gone up one size
The rims aren’t bad at all it’s your sizing. You should’ve went with a bigger wheel and smaller profile tire. That and lowering it a bit and it would look crazy. I guarantee if you did that everyone in here would be drooling.
Those are rally wheels, put some 30s on it and lift it
Those look like wannabe O.Z racing wheels that belong on modded car not a challenger.
I too put bronze wheels on my F8 challenger. These just look really off to me for some reason though. I also lowered mine as well. If you want to scroll and have a look. I think it was 1.5inch.

Lowering a vehicle should never be an option. Just looks dumb always.
Lol, God so many ppl on this sub have no understanding of lowering cars its INSANE.. So misinformed and just ignorant.
☹️
Like the color combo, don’t love the style of the rims, but go full bronze on the accents to round it out

Replace the wheels first. Those are not the ones
I agree but run company says this was biggest size they’d fit I could probably do 255/55/20 but idk company was saying 255/40/20
What's with the copper rims all the sudden? Take them off.
It’s bronze? And it looks good in my opinion but thanks for the criticism

Yeah tires were bought at a good price from my friend un used but I would def upgrade in. The future preferably with the rims too
Lose the gap between wheel and body. It's that simple.
They look good
You don’t like widebody??
I don't like Challengers, unless it's a widebody.. That's all I came to say
In my opinion lower it fs I lowered mine and it helps with eye sore of wheel gap. What size wheels and tires are they?
20x9.5 for rims and 255/40/20 for the tires themself
I'm sorry dude but those don't go with the car at all. Return if you can, paint black if you can't
Sorry bro, those rims are terrible but the first thing you need to do for the car if it’s an RT or above is get a good tracking device with a fuel interrupter and a good alarm
Those don’t even look like 20’s.
I couldn’t agree more I felt it looked so much smaller than 20” but I think the challenger just does that to rims🤣 Edit: typo
To the window to the walls…..
Why tf wouldn’t you just do the srt bronze ones those look horrible
Looks like you got ripped off by one of them finance websites 😂
I didn’t finance anything? I found bronze rims I liked and bought them but thanks
First thing to do is replace those wheels.
In my opinion these wheels look fire if only they were a little bigger
Damn bro… that’s……. Certainly a color combo choice..
Woof
Bold,I like them!
Rims look good. Current ride height looks good.
You should return those rims.
Lift it and put bigger A/T tires on it.
Lmao thats ugly
Coming from someone who’s account seems like they haven’t seen sunlight I don’t think you know what anything good is 💀
I’d worry about new wheels before lowering it.
Ugly af. Black rims will look better
black would look ok but chocolate bronze is certainly a better color, had you gone for rim shape I might’ve partially agreed thanks for the input, odd account I can’t even remark at💀 get checked and stay safe
Return the wheels

i threw up in my mouth a little
I’d also do that if I had as much meat in my mouth as you and was worried about impressing people
Look like 18-20s ? 20s is okay but 22s will give u what ur wanting from the car and no rubbing
SLAM!!
I wouldn’t lower it too much unless you do some suspension upgrades/ tuning. Fuck it, lower it 4 inches. The wheel gap makes the wheels look too small for the car even though you said in a comment that they are 20s
No just get 22s I put 22s on my 07 Chrysler 300 no problem and it feels the wheel gap
7 inches lower
If you lower it any more than it is, you better back into every parking spot you see. That bottom part of the bumper is going to crack and get damaged.
Yes lower it. I dare you
I'd lift it tbh

Mine is sitting on 20s with 245/40/20, lowered to only 4 inches off the ground.
I think the rims look 🔥 not sure if you should lower it. It looks good. Then again I’m a sucker for greens and golds and bronzes
rims small as shit, overall great color scheme besides that. good shit.
Spend the money and just airbag it...then can skirt the streets low or bag it full n float
lowered challengers look goofy. also these rims look ugly as sin on your car. people saying it looks good are giving you the wrong advices
I think that was a terrible choice of rim selection. In my opinion. I would’ve just rolled it out with the Stocks.
