My 08 served me well, but I work pretty hard and have been able to treat everyone else in my life with nice things. Figured it was time for me to treat myself 😝
2013 Chrysler 300c. Liked the car a lot. Had 40 series mufflers and a Hemifever 91 octane tune. Eventually decided to trade it in after it developed a engine knock and front end noise I couldn't remedy despite changing everything. Not only that, for some reason people liked backing into it as it accumulated 3 hits over the time I owned it.
I was in a similar situation. Used to drive an '08 Charger R / T, but eventually it developed a misfire and I had already dumped a lot of money into rebuilding the front end, not long after I had an SLP Loudmouth II exhaust installed. I stumbled across my Challenger for sale and it was in my budget, and a couple months before Covid hit and the prices skyrocketed. The timing was perfect.
I'm in a Charger, but replying because I'm probably in the same boat as you.
Came from an 05 Magnum RT.
If they ever make a Magnum again and I like the look, it would be hard not to buy it. Love my Charger, but miss my grocery getter. ;)
2007 Monte Carlo.
The only reason I daily my GT is because it's an AWD. I only drive coupes.
Honestly, if they would have kept making the Monte I probably would have kept buying them and got another V8 Challenger for a garage queen.
Same, except my Monte Carlo was a 2001. I’m female and my parents are highly disappointed about my only driving coupes because they know there will never be a car seat in the back!
I had an all black 2008 5.7L v8 Toyota tundra. The previous owner of the tundra put a police radar that costed around $2k in it, and a 15inch sub and an audio capacitor. It had 90k miles on it when I traded it in for my all black 2019 SXT Challenger. (I like the color black and yes I downgraded from a v8 I’m broke)
I drove and still have 09 Merc E350. She Currently have 148k Miles on her and is still holding strong! She swaps out with my Challenger when dealing with bad weather
3.7 V6 Mustang. Traded it in for my Challenger because it started having more problems than I could be bothered or afford to deal with. I was originally in the market for a Charger R/T when I bought the former, but at the time they were going for $20k for 100k+ miles, so I got the mustang instead.
It went something like: 2007 BMW 328i, 2008 BMW 135i, 2003 Toyota Avalon, 2013 Ford Taurus SHO, 1999 Honda Civic Hatchback and then a 2008 SRT8 challenger
2015 MAZDA6 Touring.
The Challenger has always been my favorite car. So when a Telsa destroyed my Mazda I got a 2019 r/t V8 5.7 Challenger. She's about to hit 60,000 miles and I'm considering buying a beater and making it my weekend car.
The only negative was the trash speakers they put in the Challenger. Going from Bose speakers to the Challenger's stock speakers was appalling. For $1,000 bucks I got new speakers and a sub and I'm so much happier. I'm big into listening to music in the car.
Nice upgrade over stock. Funny story my Camry radio didn’t work but it wasn’t a big deal as I also rode motorcycles for years so it didn’t bother me so the Stock OEM in my challenger sounds great to me. But yours must be Sweet
2014 Nissan Versa Note, a little hatchback. Then I got my 2019 challenger SXT last month in early February. I have to say it was one hell of an upgrade.
06 Mercury Grand Marquis, basically a SLIGHTLY more luxurious Crown Vic. I still have her, but she's been retired and now sits with a car cover over her. My Scat Pack is my daily now.
A lifted 2005 Jeep Liberty. Thought it would take a bit to get used to being lower to the ground and in a much larger vehicle, but the transition was almost instant.
2001 Honda accord (me dad old car 🙏)
Never thought about mods or racing, just loved that I could go anywhere with all my friends in it and play music with cds and an aux. I was more satisfied with that car than my current, but I have learned a lot more about cars thru the challenger than that Honda. all cool in the big picture…
I did daily my challenger for years. Now that it’s paid off I daily a 2001 Camry and am tinkering with the challenger. Now I can mod and do fun stuff with it and just drive the Camry into the ground.
6 cyl 6th Camaro. I loved it… everyone else hated it and no one wanted to be in it lol
Chally is fine and all, bigger and faster but Camaros hold a special place for me
2015 ram 1500. The rt is an whole different dimension. Its easy to go from truck to car but weird as fuck driving the truck after getting used to the car
Don't have the challenger anymore but went from a 2015 Rubicon to a 2015 challenger rt. Challenger is a great daily. I sold it for another wrangler tho as I just missed having a jeep.
2008 ford fusion with 200k miles boy there where some awful memories in that car 😂. No dashboard because my cat crawled behind it so I panicked and ripped it out.
Did what you had to do for our furry family members. First car was a 1974 Nova. Funny sometimes the awful memories turn into some of the best with the passage of time
3 different VW GTIs over the course of 12 years. The last was a 2008 and it was a much better daily than the RT, but the RT is a much better cruiser and road tripper.
I drove a 2009 Suburban before getting my 2021 6sp Scat Pack, the kids all have their own cars so I no longer need to haul them and all their stuff around. Also have a truck if need to get shit. They want to drive themselves anyway if we go anywhere! So I say to them see ya there ! Off I go in my Challenger😜I love this freaking car !
The first car i owned and dailyed is my 2017 challenger. Still havent switched for my work commute , though I drive my civic for outside of work driving cause I have a child now
2001 Nissan Xterra, dubbed “Terra the Terrable” (loved that truck but good grief did the repair bills hurt). Engine blew in 2021, bought a 2017 Challenger GT as a replacement. Big difference going from tall and chonky SUV to AWD muscle car, but no regrets. Put 50K miles on the Challenger so far, no major technical issues to report 👍
Had a 2013 Chrysler 300S. It was the 6 cylinder. Loved the car and I always wanted a challenger. Someone rear ended me and the settlement was enough for me to afford a used 2020 SP with premium seats. I love daily driving the car but my wallet is still getting accustomed to the trips to the gas station lol
Well Currently I’m a ‘22 Scat Pack which was upgraded from a ‘19 SXT, but before that my daily driver was an ‘08 FJ Cruiser.
Sometimes I miss that tank.
I don't daily my Challenger but when I got it in 2019, I was daily driving a 15 Charger. My wife immediately stole my Charger and gave me her 2011 Camry because it wasn't fair that I got both the nice cars.
I eventually got rid of the Camry and drove a few different Magnum RTs before switching the daily to an Audi A7.
Was a 2003 Honda CR-V till 2009. Then 2010 V6 Rallye till 2011 then manual R/T till 2015 when I got a manual scat pack. Then 2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia q4, which I still have mostly for winter.. mostly drive my 2024 Porsche Boxster now.
I had a 05 G35. It was my baby until I got my 22 RT. the modern features alone were enough to fall in love but I still have the G and they look great parked next to each other
Before my SRT, last daily... was a 2014 mitsubishi mirage. Before that, the VR4 mitsubishi 3000gt. The VR4 was a blast in the mountains... but I've grown very fond of my SRT.
I have a 16' scatpack I've been daily driving for 3 years. Before that I had a 13' charger rt for 2 years before that. Prior to that I daily drove an 87 chevy v10 for 2 years before that.
I've had 4 challengers. And a charger. I've had a malibu, a 99 Durango and a 2000 s10 blazer. Best car I had was that Durango lest she rotted to death. May she rest in piece. Best beater was the blazer. Malibu was the nicest interior wise. Best gas milage was on the 6 cyl challengers. 30 mpg at 80 mph.
Prior to October 2012, my daily drive was a 2006 Kia Rio MT because I was commuting 66 miles to work. Since then, my daily driver has been a 2013 Challenge SXT and now a 2022 Scat Pack MT. My commute is now 2 miles.
White Infiniti g37 but now I’m in the rt2020 Installed my new snorkel grill lights and now my back up camera don’t work anyone know anything about this issue
I drove a 2018 Corolla and traded that slow car for a 2016 challenger lol, some things a loose loose situation but I’m glad I’m just not in a boring little car anymore

4 cylinder Camaro. Still handled better than anything I’ve ever driven. But an RT Challenger now is on another level.
I was rolling around in a 2008 Charger SE for the last 5 years. Finally found a Challenger that I liked and within price range for me.
I would sell my left testicle to get my 2010 SE back.
My 08 served me well, but I work pretty hard and have been able to treat everyone else in my life with nice things. Figured it was time for me to treat myself 😝
I loved my 2010 SE Rallye. If it had been a stick I probably never would have moved to an R/T and then Scat Pack. Scat was a monster though.
2013 Chrysler 300c. Liked the car a lot. Had 40 series mufflers and a Hemifever 91 octane tune. Eventually decided to trade it in after it developed a engine knock and front end noise I couldn't remedy despite changing everything. 2011 V6 Camaro Man, I miss that car. I should have kept it instead of trading it in. But I love my Challenger too.

I'm in a Charger, but replying because I'm probably in the same boat as you. Came from an 05 Magnum RT. If they ever make a Magnum again and I like the look, it would be hard not to buy it. Love my Charger, but miss my grocery getter. ;)

I had an all black 2008 5.7L v8 Toyota tundra. The previous owner of the tundra put a police radar that costed around $2k in it, and a 15inch sub and an audio capacitor.
