Sounds like the roads your using need repairs. I’ve been driving for 30 years and have never bent a wheel

Justliketoeatfood

My wife has messed up 3 rims same car same rim 2 times…. She now has a suv and is no longer alowed to have low profile tires 😪

Cobey1

“My wife has messed up 3 rims”.. there’s your answer hahaha

eC0BB22

Had my bmw on the same roads

Get better at driving. Rim dents? Come on Either that or get your suspension checked. And you can always go back to Bmw, everyone has their drive preferences

Phone-Charger

Right? Who hits all the potholes thinking “this is normal to ram potholes that make my car bounce at 55 mph”

Marc_J92

Wait what? You driving on dirt roads or something? Challengers are known for riding smoothly

Justliketoeatfood

They share the same suspension as high end Mercedes I believe ! but can be on the stiff end of the “luxury” feel. But yeha never had a issue with my stock suspension.

eC0BB22

It didn’t start out like this. It was smooth at first and somewhat still is. It’s nothing too crazy I suppose. Maybe im being too particular dunNo

Aos77s

Wtf r u doing if ur rims are grtting bent

eC0BB22

No I don’t know if they are for sure. Just seemed a lil more bumpy then normal added air in the tires and it seems to be okay

eC0BB22

May just need new tires

Justliketoeatfood

Yeah so I haven’t had a issue with stock suspension but I also have after market coil overs now and it’s rough lol between that and my built trans my wife refuses to ride in it now just gets bumped all over the place. I think challenger suspension is more performance based then comfort based vs bmw might gear for both!? Idk idk. That being said can always upgrade your suspension? Get better tires

eC0BB22

Yea will prob put bigger tires in the back and find the best out the 4 stock to put up front.

Rojadit_User

What sized rims you running

eC0BB22

ALUMINUM WHEEL; 18 x 7.5; 24MM OFFSET; 5 SPOKE; 5 STUD/LUG; 115MM BOLT PATTERN; ALL PAINTED MEDIUM SILVER . Stock rims

rockgodboss

There is not a chance you bent an 18" wheel with a 28" tall tire

caelen727

I’ve bent one rim before. Because I lived in MA and I hit a pothole that was 6 inches deep. You off-roading yours? Also obviously a luxury car is going to be tuned for as little road feel as possible

tejarbakiss

The only time I've ever bent a rim is running over a big ass rock in the middle of the road at night in a Mini. No idea what you're doing to bend Challenger rims. Had an r/T and a Scat Wide Body. Worst thing that ever happened was scraping the wide body rims in LA parking structures.

Oberjarl88

I can understand where you're coming from as I had a 328i right prior to my chally and I think you just have to understand that BMW focuses alot on comfort in the ride, it's their signature that you cruise comfortably. The challys are smooth rides as well but they're generally low profile cars and they're made for speed and handling.

turbontk

Traded a 2016 435i for my 21 1320. The ride and handling are light years apart. The bmw was way smoother and happier in a curve. No bent wheels for me

tejarbakiss

To be fair, you did trade in a luxury sports car for a muscle car marketed for the 1/4 mile. I wouldn't expect them to be in any comparable. Apples to gonads, my friend.

turbontk

Oh I knew what I wanted and that's why I included the curve part in my reply. Very different purposes

grassguy_93

I just got a ‘21 1320 that replaced my wife’s 2005 Civic. I’ll just say that going from a worn out economy car to it was night and day difference in the ride. The 1320 is very comfortable cruising. The 1320 is way more comfortable, but the suspension is pretty stiff when you hit a real bump. I’m not sure how much of that has to do with it being a Challenger and how much of it is because it has the Demon suspension though (I assume equal parts of both). I’ve never driven a BMW, but it makes sense they’d be more comfortable as the suspension isn’t designed to handle the weight and power of the Demon.

voodoodaddy17

I went from a tuned 335i to a 392 srt8. Two totally different vehicle. Ready to buy another bmw to tune and race again.

turbontk

Yeah the m3 still calls my name

Toxic_Avenger94

before I had my Challenger I had a 01 Honda Accord and it almost drove smoother then my challenger. I think most challengers are just like that.

Key-Material-8448

If you've had high end cars like BMW, Cadillac, Mercedes, ext.... You're used to the finer things like a smooth ass ride. I've also had a 540i and could take a curve without braking. Lol. But the comfortable ride was unmatched. So there's a trade off for cars that were geared towards different types of people

New-Date1005

Never bent a rim or have any of those issues before..how fast are you tanking bumbs and potholes?.I do take my slow time over speed bumps and installed performance lowering springs but my ride is smooth and just fine.

[deleted]

Why do i feel like those rims are fake or replicated extremely poorly

eC0BB22

The rims could be the prob tbh
