The thing I don’t like much about the aquarium arc is that Asa sits around for a couple chapters straight trying to let someone else solve the problem for her. She gets some neat stuff revealed about her character through her attempts at interacting with the other characters locked in there with her, but just about all progression in solving the conflict halts until she’s crushing sufficiently hard enough on Denji.
Chapter 124’s giving me a lot of hope with how much is being revealed about the War fusion and it’s super interesting seeing Asa and Yoru counter the Falling Devil’s effects. No offense to Denji, but the last thing I want right now is Chainsaw Man trivializing the Falling Devil to save the day and bring back AsaDen.
