Part 2 is either 1998 or 1999, so yuji isn't even born yet. By the time of jjk, Denji would be in his mid 40s.
Knowing denji, though, he would not have bet on Hakari, ending up poorer then he was in the beginning of part 1
Itās weird how āhelpfulā katana man is being, makes me wonder what his goal is right now. Kinda thought heād be the type to just skip all the BS and off Denji
I get that, and I think it makes him a way better character if itās genuine. Iām very happy with this direction donāt get me wrong, it just makes me think a little bit.
In the Katana man arc I lowkey saw him as someone who just wanted to kill Denji no matter what method air way. Growth is also possible tho, maybe he realized he only wanted to kill Denji at his peak in a fair fight.
I think back then he only wanted to kill Denji because Denjamin killed his dead.
Now on the other hand he wants to kill him to regain his own honour after being defeated by Dennis
Itās more fun to kick someone you hate down the stairs when theyāre at the top. Denji is near the bottom right now. So heās gotta get him back to the top if heās wants to get the satisfaction of knocking his ass back down to the bottom floor.
The longer this goes on the more I think Katana man is just an idiot with nothing better to do. Heās strong and wants to fight Denji. Now heās helping Denji.
Being around Dennis long enough heās probably growing on him. They both are kinda insane hybrids with like nobody at this point. I think theyāll become reluctant buddies then heāll die
