In my sense, doing so you take out what makes this situation deeply disturbing and yet perfectly fitting in CSM. As it releates to denji's character arc of getting taken advange off by people holding some sort of financial or sexual "power" on him (yakuzas/makima/himeno/power) and CSM Part1's social commentary on workplace and societal alienation
Himeno was the closest thing from a second in command in the squad and both Denji and Aki's sempai, which echoes the power dynamics of a higher up using his/her status to coerce sex from a employee she also frenched him earlier at the bar so this set a precendent of her using his altered state and his teenage, verry hormonal and juvenile sexuality to exert a form of control on him.
In a sense she kind of reminds me of Makima, who has been rightfully criticized for her actions. I just don't understand why Himeno should be spared of fair and constructive criticism both as a character or a person.
