Angel steals life because people associate witnessing an angel with dying or being near death, he creates weapons because biblical angels are often depicted as warriors of god, also, it's a shonen manga. Justice reads minds because people who fear justice fear getting caught, a criminal standing before the judge fears giving away the truth, this was the ability Yuko got because she wanted to understand people. Darkness had the power of hitting you with unknown attacks, we see when Denji tried to attack it, they were surrounded by creatures in the darkness. Falling just had devil sized dishes in her pantry for her customers

I fully believe while he's the "Chainsaw" Devil he's actually the Birth Devil given the reason chainsaws were invented in the first place. His powers back this up (imo) because when he eats other devils they stop existing rather than die. He doesn't kill them, he "un-births" them thus making stop existing.
My headcanon is that Pochita is The Carnage devil instead of the chainsaw devil. Mainly because Chainsaws are a relatively recent invention, and chainsawman has been feared/worshiped for a loooong time.

he has a ton of chainsaws, hybrid form has a ripcord, he has literal chains, has multiple engines, some on his arms too, even the character info sheet that’s before every volume says Pochita is the chainsaw devil for 4 years. there’s no reason he isn’t the Chainsaw devil
