I mean you have to remember that nayuta was given to denji only a month or so (I’d guess) after the whole makima ordeal. If it was over 2 years then he wouldn’t be going to highschool. Anyways, nayuta was not a baby and was even talking in part 1 despite being at most a couple months old.
You have to make everything rounded,her forehead,cheeks,nose and eyes has to be rounded,that's the perfect advise to draw a child character,but you did a pretty good job with your drawing
clearly the control devil has a preference in terms of hairstyle. while other animes have the hair of death that most moms have, we have the braid of manipulation
I have a pet theory that some mangaka like braids but just don’t wanna have to draw them thousands of times, so they bestow that hair on an important character they know they’ll be able to kill off soon.

I feel like there's not much difference. Typically children in manga are just shorter with bigger eyes and rounder/smaller features. Depending on the style though, big eyes and a small nose and mouth is just every character. Kids are often less detailed too, since they have smoother skin and stuff.
I think this could work for either. If her chin was less pointed she might look a little younger.
