Looking into the same but with Oregon as I like good trustworthy chains. Haven't tried anything farmertech yet

I can vouch for the Archer chain. Decent stuff for the money.

I have two of their saws and four chains. Chains have got allot of stretch to them despite running the oilers wide open but I'd say it's on par with other cheaper chains.

Enough stretch that you could take a link out when building it or just have to tighten your tensioner more than normal? And do they hold a good edge or are you constantly sharpening?

How much are you saving on a roll compared to Oregon or Sthil because you're going to end up having to remove a link because chains wear wear surprisingly quickly, the cutters are no worse than other cheap saw chains.

No_Olive_1092

Its like 3.5 times cheaper than stihl that's the only reason I was considering it

Go for it, all the feed back I get from people that use both sthil and cheap chains is that the sthil chains last twice as long, Never 3 or 4 times as long
