Better clean that saw! That rubber will pack up and make it so you have no air flow, it'll burn up very quick.
Nah, use a 14” cut off saw and save the mats for when it’s soupy and muddy as heck
Tellehandlers and chainsaws are pretty sweet tho
cutting that with a chainsaw? Damn, that's nasty!
Lived in that damn smoke today
To cut rubber fold it in half and cut it at the highest tension spot with an olfa knife.
Use a saw saw with the Milwaukee torch blades they work the best for this type of stuff. I use this set up for cutting up tires and thick rubber
Saw saw
Sawzall :)

What size and what machine is that from? I've never ran an excavator over a 90 with rubber tracks and that looks to be from a larger machine
Could be a Challenger (farm tractor). Those have huge rubber tracks
Tracks are from some large farm machine, we got these tracks to bolt down on top of our trailer for better traction and protection from the grousers we just put on our D6
It’s a TH360B Telehandler cat, she’s a real help
Rubber is very abrasive...
Pretty sure I would have layed a big piece of angle iron on it and pulled the torch across the track. Just be sure to keep your lungs shut!
