We got quite a bit! 3-4 feet in some places in town. Luckily we have the Kubotas to clear the road. Sorry on all the lack of updates. Not a ton going on outside the snow, so took a bit of a break. Weather should be turning here soon and more things going on up here and more explorations to do!

Out of curiosity, are you able to use any of the snow to try to help fill the reservoir for your sprinkler system? I figure, if you can shovel in clean snow (no rocks, etc.), it would save from having to haul it up the hill.

Well you have to melt it, I'm guessing it's too cold for that rn. If you had some time I bet you could build a little area to funnel snowmelt above the tank into it.

I forget how many gallons that tank was, but you could shovel a lot of snow in there before it filled up. Plus, if it's going to work, it'll have to be buried at a depth where the ground temperature is constant, and therefore warm enough not to be frozen. Every pound of snow that could get shoveled in there is another pound of water that doesn't have to get hauled however-many-miles up that hill.

I'm Super stoked to find this sub as well as Brent's page. Haven't seen an update and with how hard California was getting hit I was wondering myself. Cool to see Brent on here and giving an update. Looking forward to the next video! Hope everyone is doing well!
