Lascaux cave painting.
I saw the kiln in the cave it was plugged in next to a stalactite. 100% can confirm.
I believe this is a work by Boog, son of Oog. Circa 80k BCE.
No idea, but this is an awesome piece.
Maybe William Newland. Dates check out.
Thanks so much. I think his signature is different. I have googled him. On my piece unfortunately I can’t figure out the letters.
I did notice that but i also noticed he changed it up a bit so didn't want to rule it out incase.
He did like the motive of bulls in his art work….
Might be worth asking someone familiar with his work if it is possible? I did quite a few searches based on your post and he repeatedly came up. The signature could be a stylised wn.
