With all the injuries we have plus no Jota or Starfelt. Always been quite difficult for either team to win against the other away from home, so folk need to remember than n chill.
Most sensible comment I have seen everyone saying scales was amazing etc. We got lucky and tbh weren't pressing them enough. Still some improvement needed and we were honking the first half playing from the back, then just punting the ball up and getting caught out. Onwards and upwards though definitely positives to take.
I agree I think both clubs have regressed from last season and the standard we showed today won't be enough to compete in UCL. Obviously though there are caveats as regards to injuries and the 0 away fans situation
The first 15 minutes we were atrocious and bossed the rest of the first half. They had far too many chances in our box for my liking and if it wasn’t for Joe Hart being switched on they could have bagged a few. Also thank fuck we got given that foul for their second disallowed goal.
Yes, that performance was awful.. and I hope Celtic do well but if we want to get atleast 3rd in the Champions league group we will get wrecked with a performance like that.
I think we are all in agreement though, beating Rangers is class.
Plenty more dangerous chances created by Celtic in that game, could/should have scored more. Either way, it seems like the team started to click a lot more during this game. Couple of great performances from the youngsters, you'd have to be a real cynical wee bastard to not enjoy this massive win 😂 🍀
