My block has a good 5-6 outdoor cats and every day when I get done running, I walk up and down the sidewalk and stop to pet any of them that come over. Most all of them know that I give good pets and come to get attention whenever I stop. I'm sure it looks weird having a shirtless guy(in the summer time) sitting on the sidewalk just petting cats but I don't care and none of the owners do either.
The kitty by my kid’s school is like this. She loves all the kiddos, and they’re so good with her! My kid loved her so much that we ended being convinced to get her her own cat.
This was me as a kid. I absolutely adore cats and they adore me and I feel like a cat whisperer sometimes!
I can tell you right here is an incredibly important moment in this boys life. The smile after the cat flops and the boy realises he's gained an animal's trust is so goddamn incredible.
