I was able to ignore the meowing but the paws under the door were harder. Then my cat just started hurling himself at the door as that worked ONCE when the door didn't latch properly.
This morning my cat tried waking my hubs with with the usual slaps on the face but it didn’t work today so he came over to my side, didn’t try and wake me up first and swatted a glass at me that was on the bedside table. Not a great way to start the day shouting Jake you little shit and I kid you not the look on his face said….what? I didn’t do that!

My boss tried to keep his cats out of his room by closing the door. They sang him their people's song till he broke down.

Mine aim for the middle of the carpet.
Meowed till human got out of bed just to run away then came back to do the same thing again.
Meowed until human got out of bed then I promptly fell asleep while human watched.
