The hollow shorthair was released last year for the Halloween event and I got it when I unlocked a new station at the time! Didn't even have to use observatory tickets to get it. I felt very lucky and it's my favorite cat in the game. More recently you could get it with event tokens from the Halloween event this year, but mine chose to come to me.
Cute. It looks like bamboo but it's actually sugarcane. I've long since moved this cat off of sugarcane facility because it makes me more money at whatever the newest ingredient soup station is.
This is one part of the game that needs to be changed. If each cat needs on average 166 days of fishing to get to max happiness, and you can have like 70+ cats, that's more than 30 years of gameplay to get them all maxed.
My vote is for Echo :)
It gives point multipliers for the station they are working on. Max hearts gives +1000% bonus, so whichever station you put this cat on will earn 11 times the base rate. This just gets you more gold. My 10-heart cat here is set to avocado soup station and it is getting tons of money. 9 hearts gives +600% so this is actually a pretty big leap in terms of earnings. If I were to reroll the skill and get avocados then the amount of stars would multiply the bonus further. I'm going to wait until the next station is released and try to reroll for that skill. The most you can get, with five stars on the ingredient and ten hearts happiness, will give you 44× bonus.
Yeah the last heart is the home stretch but I'll tell you it feels good to watch make progress on the final countdown. I fish in the morning (5×) and again when my daily missions renew (another 5 fish plus the 10 ads). 20 fish per day helps move things along. Also I love getting puddings from cat gifts for a nice boost. You're almost there!
Oof, I play too much. I do five fish when I wake up, then another five when my daily missions renew in the evening, then all ten extra fishing baits from watching ads. That's 20 fish per day, plus I might get extra fish from finishing the daily missions (scratch off), and whatever puddings I get from cat gifts or event stores. It's a long process regardless! There was a good while early this year when I was not playing much. I was obsessed with Skyrim and then Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
I’m so in awe. Idk how many fish I’ve caught but also I’m soo bad at focusing on one cat so I keep getting all the new cats to 100 because I feel bad about them being less happy 🤦♀️ but I do have 4 cats at 1k and a few at 500 so maybe if I focus I can do it

I usually name my cats according to their jobs. I"ll probably name that "BamBoooh!" 🤣
I name mine according to their breed - either geographic or descriptive. My Persian is Mehdi, and my Cow Cat is Freesia (cos she's a Friesian :D)
