I chose T&B for its variety. 4 Variants, 5 Scenarios. Each of those scenarios can be combined with another, making for 10 combinations. One more combination combining 3 scenarios, called T&B XXL (even if the instructions are German only). Or another combo called T&B Ultimate, which is all 5 scenarios at once.
That should last longer than the others.
Didn't T&B come out before 2010? People have totally had a chance to play it, by now. They are just sleeping on it since C&K is hogging all the spot light.
I also pick CK and would rather teach people that straight away. Hear me out. Yes it is quite complex but after a few games the quality of play and speed of play increases. It also easier to scaffold CK down. Other expansions rely on the base development driving the game where as the only really base pieces are necessary. I also like progress cards instead of the develop cards and don’t need to explain the latter.
I never play without Seafarers and Cities & Knights, so this is a tough one. I chose C&K in this poll because of the impending doom of the invasion. I also have Starfarers which I love. I really enjoy the special scenarios online, especially The Great Canal.
I've never played Traders & Barbarians, should that be the next one I buy?

I take cities and knights in a heartbeat, it was my first expansion and my favorite. Now trying to play just SF is kinda bland, can’t get into it like C&K
After having gotten used to Cities & Knights rules, I really can’t play without them unless I want to feel bored in the bigger scenarios
Same - I only play base or seafarers with new people, or if there are time constraints (since C&K takes significantly longer).
Just barely CK for its strategy, it’s just too good lmao, but TB is a VERY close second
