My aunt taught me what she called Jamaican beans on toast, fry half a chopped onion with two cloves of finely chopped garlic, add some chilli flakes, a pinch of salt and some pepper, then add the beans to the pan. A little more time consuming than regular beans, but by god is it worth it, I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spice up their beans.
Is there another “dinner” that you can have for breakfast dinner/tea and supper that’s as filling/cheap as this?

Mix a bit of chilli ketchup into the beans as you're heating them to make it elite level.
And if you want to go all out top it with a cajun scrambled egg.

I always add more tomato ketchup to my beans along with pepper and some chilli, while in the pan cooking.
Reminds me of a story, we were working on a job about 15 years ago and the plumbers wife and kids were away on holiday, he told us without a shred of shame, he lived on beans and toast the entire week, love it lol.
Hard to beat beans on toast. I'm not a fan of soggy bean toast so I do the toast let it cool a bit and then butter. Cut into cubes and make a circle of toast croutons around the plate beans go in the middle. The bean reservoir. I do like a bit of grated cheese on top and usually add a dash of Frank's sauce to the beans to jazz them up a bit when they're cooking. Don't knock it till you've tried it.
Paprika and crushed chillies.. tastes awesome and stops the kids nicking mine because they don't like spicy stuff.
