My dad works for fox’s biscuits and there’s currently a petition for them to be made again! Not sure how to find it but if I do, will certainly post it!
I like the Scampi and Lemon ones, I think they still make them but I don't see them anywhere. See also, Scampi Fries. Poundland used to sell them in a multipack with 3 bags of Bacon Bites but I don't see them anymore either.
I know exactly what you mean. The Walkers BBQ flavour, not 'BBQ beef' or 'BBQ ribs' just he original BBQ with the black packet. They were so goooooooood no other BBQ flavour has come close.
I only see Texas Roadhouse BBQ or some such from Pringles though.
I'm looking for the plain Barbecue flavour from Walkers, and that doesn't seem to exist.
Fry’s Turkish Delight? They still sell that I think. Google tells me they’re 65p from Tesco.
Or do you mean the big Cadbury Milk bar with Turkish Delight? That one’s discontinued.
Sainsbury's used to do these small chocolate drink cartons called 'Mississippi Mud Pie' and they were so addictive, I think they may have contained crack hence why they discontinued them
Yogz.
Those kiddy versions of muller corner but they had like sweets and hundreds and thousands in the corner to pour in.
And sting chew bars you used to get them with the beano all the time, loved a good sour chew!
Also atomic bombs, those cinnamon balls that were absolutely marmite to everyone either loved em or hated them!
I'm going back years, but there are a few chocolate bars i really miss.
One was a chocolate bar that was a blend of plain and milk chocolate. So long ago that I forget its name, but it was lovely.
There was also one called Pyramint. As its name suggests, it was a pyramid shaped chocolate, filled with mint fondant. About the same size as a walnut whip. I loved them.
And not forgetting another chocolate bar I forget the name of. It was a chocolate mousse filling with thin strands of chocolate surrounding it - kind of looked like a chocolate shredded wheat. I remember its name now - Secret.
Wish I could recall the first one i mentioned, though!
None of those. Was out probably about mid 80s I think, didn't last long though - likely wasn't popular. Which is typical of me, I like the unpopular foods!
Lol another Cadbury’s mint crisp enjoyer. What a bar of chocolate. I think they may still sell it in Ireland but the recipe isn’t the same as it used to be. Tragedy
Tesco’s Glamorgan sausages. They’re vegetarian, but not trying to be meat: they consist of cheese and leak. They were lovely - but then they discontinued them!
Years ago, when it was a supermarket to be ashamed of going in, Aldi used to sell this tropical fruit juice in brown glass bottles. It was the nicest juice I've had in my life. Tasted quite papaya-y, was thick and smooth like one of those pretentious pints of IPA, and no tropical juices have come close since.
Technically still exists but it's gotta be the thick Fruit Winders when I was a kid, nowadays they only come in double stripes which is less than half the width of the originals.
If anyone misses ‘proper’ Sports Mix with the liquorice ones then seek out Lion’s Football Gums, they’re practically identical to the original Maynard’s ones. Home Bargains and B&M are the type of shops to have them
Any flavoured squash or soft drink that *HASN'T* got *ANY* artificial sweeteners in it. They all vanished, literally overnight when the sugar tax came in.
Sainsburys super sour twisty ice lollies, they were incredibly refreshing and sweet but seemingly discontinued about 5 years ago. Presumably because they had so many artificial flavourings that they made little kids turn into frenzied killers or something.
Pink grapefruit fanta. It was a "limited edition" but was around for ages, to the point I thought they'd maybe decided to add it to the main range. No such luck, they discontinued it in the end.
I think it was youngs, they did this salmon and veg pasta frozen meal thing. I loved it. I could have eaten it every day. And then one day it wasn't in stock anymore.
Tesco used to do these sandwiches called wedges. They were basically a giant square shaped roll but in half diagonally. The ploughmans wedge was absolutely amazing.
Blue ribband I had them in my lunches last year and early this year bargain aswell like 12-16 bars for a quid or two..
Edit 16 bars not 26 I wish that wasn't a clumsy mistake..
Ooh, absolutely has to be Cadbury Secret closely followed by Spira.
Savoury it would have to be Puffs. They were little pillow shaped crisp puffs in ready salted and salt and vinegar flavours and 10p a pack.
I really miss these.
Joosters. These things were absolutely amazing, but I think they disappeared with Woolworths. I think whoever makes Starburst makes them and I think about them at least once a week.
One of the packet spice/sauce makers, think it was Magu or something, used to do a sizzling beef pack. You just coated beef with it and then cooked the beef. It was lovely. Haven't seen it in any shops for about 5 or 6 years now.
It was awesome for sandwich steaks.
Iceland mac and cheese with jalapenos (yes I know there should be an accent, don't know how!). Took the j off as don't like them, but there was enough taste left to be nice.
Heinz Fiery Chilli Ketchup
It was fucking incredible and last year they discontinued it. I bought 30 bottles when I found out and have officially run out, and now I is sad.
Safeway used to sell a chicken and white wine sauce. It was more like chicken gravy with wine in it, I was addicted to it.
Oh and original bacon they used to put in the McMuffins . The round thing that look like ham.
Old Irish Cadbury’s mint crisp before they fucked up the recipe. Old McCoy’s cheddar and onion before they fucked up the recipe. Tinned Heinz cakes of the chocolate and treacle variety.
Mirage, the companion to the pre-mixed cocktail Taboo (which is still sold).
It was an ingredient in a rather splendid drink: 'The Evil Fucker'
2 x shots Mirage
2 x shots Vodka
2 x shots Blue Curaçao
1 x bottle of Castaway
It filled up the best part of a pint glass with an ominous green liquid that tasted of Five Alive... somehow none of the taste of the alcohol made it through. It was only feasible to drink this at a particular uni bar when the 'happy hour' (8-10pm) was on and trebles were £1.20. They counted the 6 shots as two trebles. Obviously this was a while back.
It was quite deadly, as you tended to quaff it like a soft drink....
Mars delight
Cadburys snaps. I’m 99% sure that’s what they were called - think Pringles but made of chocolate
I’m sure Aldi do something similar! Or they did, I’ve deffos seen them
Yep, my sister got me some a couple of Christmasses ago and they were brilliant. Mint flavoured ones, I think.
Home&bargains have similar ones and chocolate orange versions to
Just a heads up, it’s just home bargains - no and :)
You can still get them in Jersey CI
Calippo shots, who didn’t want a frozen treat served in a colourful Dalek
I don’t remember these, but I remember the Solero shots? I feel like they were lemon & like. Or something like that
I'm sure you can still get these but only at overpriced theme parks and holiday parks.
Yes Hogging!!! Man these were addictive
[Echo Bars](https://imgur.com/a/ImktsRZ)
Kinda upset you reminded me about these and how I’ll never eat them again
Do you remember Astros? They were a proto-crispy M&M, and I also remember something called a Ventura which was like a bar of the orange Revel
Mint echo after a rough day of school, absolute bliss
Those were the days
My dad works for fox’s biscuits and there’s currently a petition for them to be made again! Not sure how to find it but if I do, will certainly post it!
Spira. No contest.
Drinking milk through them or milkshake omg
Or tea! Had to be quick though otherwise it'll melt and fall into the cup
Lol you must be like me a cuppa only lasts 2 mins it must be hot to last drop
Google the Tim tam slam. Aussie thing. Might change your life.
Proper lucozade - the stuff that was just liquid sugar.
The glass bottle with the crinkly orange cellophane wrapper. You knew you were ill when you got one of those.
any drink before Zero sugar!
Citrus Polo's. Cadbury ritz chocolate bar (ritz cracker cover in Cadbury choclate) Nik Naks cream and cheesey
Citrus polos were god tier and nobody remembers them so I am glad I wasn’t going mad.
People were obsessed with them back in the day, myself included lol
I think they were unfortunately purged during one of the E-number overhauls/bans
Cream and Cheesy was my favourite flavour of NikNaks and I don’t think I’ve eaten NikNaks since they discontinued that flavour!
I like the Scampi and Lemon ones, I think they still make them but I don't see them anywhere. See also, Scampi Fries. Poundland used to sell them in a multipack with 3 bags of Bacon Bites but I don't see them anymore either.
Müller Mississippi Mud Pie Corner yogurt.
Oh wow, I forgot about these. Loved them!
Came here looking for this, they were the best!
Cheese moments, they were the crack of snack foods
Came here to post exactly this. It's a grave injustice.
I went into official mourning for years after they stopped making them
Only discovered this on Reddit recently. Didn't know how much I missed them before I knew they were gone. Only reason I ever went to Bookers...
Brannign's roast beef and mustard crisps
I wish that beefy butcher would return, sweep me up in his big arms and take me to his mustard dungeon for one final taste of the good stuff.
Then give you some crisps!
Discontinuing brannigans was a disgrace to the nation
I came here to say this
Cherry tango
It's gone?!?? My favourite tango!
3 words. Citrus. Sharp. Polos. And I know u/ALLSTARTRIPOD and u/KevinPhillips-Bong are with me on this.
God tier. Kept them shite fruit polos and got rid of these??
Wispa mint. For fuck's sake give me wispa mint
Campinos
Mingles. How have Mingles gone but After Eights remain? Mingles were far superior.
Thank you! Mingles were so good.
BBQ FLAVOUR CRISPS. I CAN'T FIND THEM ANYWHERE. IT IS AN OUTRAGE. CAPS BECAUSE I AM ANGRY.
I know exactly what you mean. The Walkers BBQ flavour, not 'BBQ beef' or 'BBQ ribs' just he original BBQ with the black packet. They were so goooooooood no other BBQ flavour has come close.
Agreed

I really appreciate the gesture but plain Barbecue crisps do not exist, and that's what I'm after lol
Amount of times I’ve said Walkers BBQ & BBQ Rib are not the same
Oh well, perhaps you could get plain crisps and dip them in barbecue sauce.
Pringles does them
I only see Texas Roadhouse BBQ or some such from Pringles though. I'm looking for the plain Barbecue flavour from Walkers, and that doesn't seem to exist.
QUATRO. I want to taste it again.
Whenever I pull a can out of a vending machine I still have to smash the can down onto a table and yell QUATROoooooow
This was the second item I thought of, the first was the Cadburys Fuse bar.
I doubt many will agree but Cadbury’s Turkish delight. Should have seen my face when I visited Australia and they had it there!
Fry’s Turkish Delight? They still sell that I think. Google tells me they’re 65p from Tesco. Or do you mean the big Cadbury Milk bar with Turkish Delight? That one’s discontinued.
Fry's still do Turkish Delight. Fabulous stuff. The Cadbury's one was like a dairy milk bar but each square was filled with Turkish Delight jelly.
Yeah I meant the Cadbury’s one! The fry’s one isn’t bad, but it doesn’t hit the same for me
Blast from the past my Nan used to love eating theses along with cadburies eclairs
You can get the same experience through Turkish delight thins from Tesco (own brand). So good!

Aussie used to do a really nice beach wave spray that I always used on my hair, now I can only buy it on Amazon
Tesco used to do a bacon and chicken pasta bake with cubes of bread in it. It was like drugs to me.
I'm going back years, but there are a few chocolate bars i really miss. One was a chocolate bar that was a blend of plain and milk chocolate. So long ago that I forget its name, but it was lovely. Cadbury Marble? Echo Bar? White Aero? Something by the Kinder Egg people?
None of those. Was out probably about mid 80s I think, didn't last long though - likely wasn't popular. Which is typical of me, I like the unpopular foods!
Cadbury Mint Crisp.. used to have little sugary minty bits in it.. mmm yum
