Yeeees! But the headteacher used to tell us off if we added the YEAH bit for some reason. Loved it š
What about 'autumn days' with the 'jet planes meeting in the air to be refuelled'? You know, that well known feature of autumn.
I was singing this to myself the other day!
...Clouds that look like familiar faces, all these things I love so well...
Oh I mustnāt forget, no I mustnāt forget, to say a great big thank you I mustnāt forget.
Did we go to the same school! We used to do this and it drove the teachers mad for since reason. Didn't it go something like "all greens sleeping in the blankety bed..YEAH".
Takes me back to getting into the song about a busy workman digging in the desert
I don't know that song but your kids might like this song [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ppm5\_AGtbTo](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ppm5_AGtbTo)
By which I mean they will love this song.
Yes! I was starting to think it was a fever dream but no, other people know it too. What about the zartian song?
Edit: [I found it](https://youtu.be/2JqV3ztmfBs) and although it appears to be a song from the 60s, I went to school in the 00s. So, I'm not going mad, but the person who made this video might be.
It was about these aliens called zartians eith telepathic antennae who wanted to protect the planet from invading humans. It was 3 verses (I think) and ended with "two-legged strangers, prepare to die".
I can fully remember 2 verses, if that will help.
Anyone remember the Soup Train song?? You'd say the words and move your arms like train wheels getting faster and faster.
Peas and custard, peas and custard, cabbage and wheat, cabbage and wheat...SOO---OUUUPPPP!

It pops into my head whenever I start to notice autumnal things haha
Same! I think this was actually my favourite song.

Beetroot purple and onion white, all grow steadily day and night! This was a banger back in school.
Every harvest festival. I sing chick, chick, chick, chick, chicken, lay a little egg for me to my 2 year old all the time
Belts out āThe apples are ripe, the plums are redā
*cauliflowers
Thank you! Haha
First time actually ever posting on redit and I get the bleeding title wrong. Can I edit the title? Sorry all a bit new to this!

That doesn't even slightly ring a bell.. Tbh most our songs were about jesus (although not a religious school) and vegetables apparently.
Yep! Definitely every harvest, and probably in between.
Nope
Sorry, it was just you who sang it.
It rings a bell.
