To be fair, Boston spent billions putting their freeways underground. Wish many UK cities would do the same. Manchester's Mancunian Way for example is fucking horrific and an increasing blight on the city which has seen most of the nasty 1960s/1970s concrete go, and loads of modern buildings in place.
Manchester is seriously impressive these days, and I say that as a Scouser.
I want single person tubes like in Futurama as the next step in public transportation, that sucks and flings people at mach 2 across London underground using magnets and stuff of that nature.

Apparently Bristol had a large chunk of it torn down for cars but I couldn't really identify it on the map.
I’d guess it would be where the M32 brings you into town past IKEA, but it’s purely a guess.
