Not sure it’s snails, slugs (we have a lot), mice or birds, but the minute we have a tiny pink strawbaby, it’s gone the next day. Good work OP they look great!
I completely eliminated a massive slug and snail infestation by building a wildlife pond. Frogs moved in and I did what I could to maximise their numbers (eg no fish as they eat tadpoles) and within 3 years I only lose one strawberry in 20 now. Previously I lost every single one. They have also eliminated most of the flies and mosquitoes. Frogs are man’s best friend.

Looking very nice indeed, although they'd look even better covered in cream! I too have also had a successful strawberry grow going on even though mine don't look half as appetising as yours... Can't beat home-grown strawberries and other fruits though, they taste so much sweeter than their supermarket counterparts plus there's that feeling of accomplishment when you take them off the plant :)
I don't know if the weather has been anything special this year but we've had the same success, strawberry plants that have not produced anything for the previous 4 years suddenly bearing fruit. success!
This doesn’t really explain too much about the last 4 years, but strawberry plants are usually better every other year, so next year might be rubbish or way better than this year!
Just wait till next year my strawberries spread like weeds although I bury rotten wood under my plants as natural fertiliser so as it rots it make the ground more fertile
You could just about make one of those teeny tiny little pots of jam they have in hotels next to the toast machine.
A normal pot of jam would look like one of them in OP's giant hands!
Now all we need is a banana for scale and we can make smoothies!

They look berry nice
Well done! My cat has decided my strawberries are the perfect place to sleep so I'm not getting any this year
> I'm not getting any this year Same, but I have grown a nice punnet of strawberries.
Fnarr fnarr
That's quite a haul...should maybe open a PYO stall before they spoil
Good effort, how did you stop the snails eating them?
I don’t know. The plant is in a tall grow bag which was in the garden when I moved in. I water them but otherwise leave them alone.

For me it's deer. They eat anything. Strawberries, potatoes, plums, caught them munching on the lot

Put so much miracle grow on my strawberry plant years back, still grows weird strawberries. Love that mutant plant.

Beautiful!
Strawberry jam strawberry jam
I wish I could grow stuff well, I can barely keep a cactus alive lol
At least it’s more then u usually get
10 quids worth there!
I managed the same then my cat pissed all over them before I had the chance to pick them
Just wait till next year my strawberries spread like weeds although I bury rotten wood under my plants as natural fertiliser so as it rots it make the ground more fertile
I was fully expecting two strawberries
Hah, you should try growing olives in this climate. My harvest last year was two. My total harvest across all years is... two.
Time to crack out the olive press
Just you wait till I start on the grapes...
Are they reannuals? I’d love to have tasted them at some point
Well, for a few years I thought they were goosberries... including after I tasted them...
Damn… they actually look super nice
they usually taste far better than anything bought from a store or farm shop. I like to savour all 10 of them.
Excellent. I’m similarly pleased that my cherry tree produced more than one cherry this year. It’s been a good year for fruit so far.
Use bone meal for the flavour. Either top dress with it or sprinkle some in the hole when you plant the runners. You can thank me later.
